SWOT Analysis of the Istanbul Canal Project in terms of Turkish Maritime
In this study; Canal Istanbul Project's present planned shape is discussed and SWOT analysis of the project is done in terms of Turkish maritime industry effects, aimed to detect this project's strengths and weaknesses and to determine the possible results that may occur, opportunities and threats. At the same time, this research aims to make it more visible this project that is a national issue in Turkey. Because this will be the new canal not only in Turkey, advantages and disadvantages could impact the whole world. The most appropriate strategy has been attempted to establish about this project for the most efficient results in terms of maritime with help of the AHP. In this respect, the findings of the study were adapted to the SWOT matrix and the strategies to be followed of the Istanbul Canal in terms of Turkish maritime were determined by the help of AHP method,
