The Transfer of Fabaceae Specımens From İstanbul Unıversıty Scıence Faculty Herbarıum to the Vırtual Herbarıum
50 genera and 393 species were detected as a result of the examination of 2,970 plant samples belonging to the family Fabaceae (sensu lato) in ISTF Herbarium. The number of plant species growing naturally in Turkey is circa 11,078. 3,700 of these plants are endemic to Turkey. The endemism ratio is 34.5%. The most diverse genera are Astragalus (75), Trifolium (56), andLathyrus (39).
