The Investigation of Quantum Entanglement in Heisenberg Spin Systems
Quantum spin systems play an important role in such quantum computers, quantum communication, quantum cryptography areas. Many theoretical studies which include such of the acquired of entanglement, time-dependent behavior of entanglement, life time of entanglement, realization of entanglement, perfect transfer of entanglement, transmission of entanglement and in addition to the creation of quantum logic gates and quantum algorithm applications have not been completed yet. The intensive studies are ongoing for understanding of this issues. Heisenberg spin systems are one of the important candidates for obtained of quantum entanglement. For this reason, in this thesis study, quantum entanglement has been investigated by using of Heisenberg spin model. The Heisenberg XXZ spin model which is consist of spins were created on a triangular cell and the pairwise entanglement of and which located within this model were investigated as depending on temperature and anisotropy under the inhomogeneous (stagger) magnetic field by using measure of entanglement. Basically, two important results are found: 1) and spin pairs constitute entanglement plateaus under the magnetic field for both ferromagnetic and antiferromagnetic interactions. These entanglement plateaus emerge in critical magnetic field values and also vanish in critical magnetic field values. 2) While the temperature dependence of quantum entanglement decrease exponentially of between and spin pairs for ferromagnetic interaction, and only spin pairs for antiferromagnetic interaction, quantum phase transition was observed in quantum entanglement of spin pairs for ferromagnetic interaction as an unexpectedly.
