The (1+3)-covariant formalism of the Standard Relativistic Cosmology is considered in the framework of modified -gravity which is a higher order gravity theory. We write the full cosmological evolution and constraint equations and then by restricted them to the case of an irrotational imperfect fluid with acceleration we carry out a full consistency and compatibility analysis for all constraints. We find that the constraint equations are consistent with each other, and they evolve consistently.
