Effects of Organızatıonal Culture on Forecastıng Organizational culture is thoughts, ideologies, values, assumptions, beliefs, expectations, approaches and norms that is shared by employees. Organizational culture integrates organization. These behavioral concepts, all together, directly or indirectly, generate organizational way of thinking that explains how to approach problems at organization and what to do when taking decisions.
Forecasting is approximate and in advance determination of a variable’s future period values under some assumptions. Nowadays, organizations take place in a business world that changes very rapidly. Adjusting themselves to that environment and to plan their decisions and investment operations, forecasting is a must element.
The aim of the study is to find out, if the organizations having specific culture has a scientifically effect on forecasting methods in use. Obtaining relation between organizational culture and demographic features of organizations are also intended. Besides, distribution and comparison of current forecasting methods and determining forecasting tools are aimed results.
Organizational culture and forecasting related through literature researches. Hypothesis generated and survey conducted to 60 organizations. SPSS software is used to achieve the research results.
According to research results, organizational culture has scientifically qualified effects on forecasting methods in use.
