Slope stability problem is one of the important problems in the field of geotechnical engineering. The research carried out in the thesis is focused to examine mechanism that causes a landslide in the slope of the Büyükçekmece Lake. For this purpose, the slope stability problem was analyzed by limit equilibrium method using the Slope/W software.
