The Effect of Cloud Computing on the Management and
Performance of Application Server
Information technologies are increasingly being the most important part of our lives. It is getting inevitable to use information technologies in business life as well as in social life. In almost all business areas like health, education, banking, telecommunication etc., last versions of information technologies’ products are used. Cloud computing which is used in many companies today is an approach to information technologies.Virtualization technology which is a part of cloud computing provides companies to use their server resources efficiently. Using virtual servers in cloud computing provides companies lots of benefits like energy saving. Many companies use physical servers beside virtual servers for their important and large-scale applications. Physical and virtual servers running in cloud computing can show different reactions in energy, management, performance etc. In this thesis, performances of physical and virtual application servers which are running in cloud computing was researched. In the thesis, panel data analysis statistical method was used. In this thesis, it is aimed that efficiently using the application servers in cloud computing.
