| Analysis and Development of Land Transportation Process Within the Context of Process Management in a Logistics Company
The increasingly competition conditions in the global world have forced companies to seek new management methods. Companies wish to be the first and consistent choice of customers by offering the highest quality goods and services on the market at the most reasonable prices have begun reassessing their operations and processes. Having seen considerable added value or both their employees and customers as a result of these improvements in their business operations and processes, companies have found ways to provide faster, more effective and more productive products and services. At this point that the concept of “Process Management” has gained widespread acceptance.
Process Management is a continuous and long journey that is monitoring, controling, measuring and improving the performance of processes. Therefore in this journey, companies should have flexible and continuous improving management methods which adapt itself to new conditions and technological changes.
In my thesis, Process management, concepts and methodology are examined. Rummler Brache Process Improvement Methodology is utilised to improve land transportation process in a logistics company.
