To ratify the recommendations of the Academic Council on the minutes of the Board, School of Legal Studies and Governance.
NOTE:
The Academic Council in its 12th meeting held on 13th August 2016, vide Item:AC:12:2016:4 considered the following recommendations of the School Board, School of Legal Studies and Governance:

Course structure and syllabus of L.L.M. Course with minor modifications.

Partial modifications in contents of courses on Family Law and IPR.

That there should be minimum 5 students opting for a specialization. The Council deferred this recommendation and recommended that all specializations offered should be run, irrespective of the number of students opting for each specialization.

To start 5 year integrated course of Law with specialization in B.Sc., LL.B (Hons.) and B.Tech. LL.B. (Hons.) from academic session 2017-18. The Council deferred this recommendation of the School Board also, as the University is not offering any undergraduate course or any integrated program.
The Academic Council, after detailed discussions, RESOLVED to approve the following recommendations of the School Board of School of Legal Studies and Governance, subject to availability of qualified faculty:

Course structure and syllabus of L.L.M. Course with minor modifications for admission of 2016-17 batch onwards.

Partial modifications in contents of courses on Family Law and IPR for admissions of 2016-17 batch onwards.
The Executive Council may like to ratify the above recommendations of the Academic Council given vide Item: AC: 12:2016:4 in its 12th meeting on the recommendation of the Board, School of Legal Studies and Governance.
