What is the street food?

Street foods are foods sold in carts on the streets. We can see these foods in market places, fairgrounds or festivals. People generally prefer street foods because they are easier to reach, cheaper and faster. street foods help people socialize. Street delicacies are discovered by the tourists visiting the region and play a major role in promoting the Cyprus culinary culture.

-Şamişi: It is a syrupy dessert made with dough, semolina, sugar and milk. It is mostly sold at festivals.

-Bastelli; Sesame, honey, sherbet or molasses until it has the consistency of caramel.It is a dessert made by boiling and then cooling.It is a dessert often sold at regional fairs and festivals.

Bomba tatlısı: It is a sherbet dessert. It is consumed lovingly by everyone. its other name is known as tulumba dessert.

Pilavuna: Contains halloumi and talar cheese. It is usually consumed at parties and for breakfast.
