The Role of Corporate Governance in fdi decisions: Evidence from Taiwan

Some Corporate Governance Indicators

There have been most of the variables to measure corporate governance level of an economy. We choose three independent variables which indicate corporate governance power. Firstly the number of established firms, secondly types of company structures in 500 biggest companies and last foreign direct investments. Why these represantors are selected? The number of established firms will be increase in strong economic policies in emergency market looks like Turkey. Types of company structure, such as joint stock and limited partnership show the institutional level also. Last, foreign direct investment selects the country on the condition of good corporate governance and sustainable economies.
