FOSTERING THE CAPACITY OF THE SCM- APPOINTED COMMISSIONS FOR THE EVALUATION OF THE PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITY OF JUDGES AND PROSECUTORS, THE AWARENESS IN THE MAGISTRACY FOR THE EVALUATION CRITERIA AS WELL AS FOR THE SCOPE AND OBJECTIVES OF THE EVALUATION PROCESS, AND THE CAPACITY OF THE SCM FOR DECIDING ON COMPLAINTS LODGED AGAINST REGULAR EVALUATIONS OF MAGISTRATES



Workshop A:Analysis of the the current regulatory and procedural/administrative framework concerning the yearly evaluation of the magistrates’ professional activity and of the procedures for complaints concerning the content of the evaluations

The working-group started its activity on June 19th, 2006. It will meet on a fortnightly basis for a period of 6 months and finish activity by presenting a final report on the findings and results. The working-group is composed of members of the SCM, staff of the Council in charge with evaluation issues. Members of the evaluation commissions (according to Law 303/2004 republished) are yet to be appointed.
