INSERT QURANIC AYAH

This supplication is also Quranic supplication from Surah Ibrahim

RABI- my lord, my master

You are calling out, my lord!

IJALNEE-

IJAL- make

NEE- me

MAKE ME
MUQEEM- comes from MUSTAQEEM! Upright, to make something straight

THE ONE WHO ESTABLISHES, THE ONE WHO MAKES STRAIGHT

MAKE ME THE TYPE OF PERSON WHO ESTABLISHES

SALAH!

ESTABLSHES PRAYER

WA MIN- and from
DHURYITEE-

Dhuriytun- PROGENY, generations to come,

ee-my
O ALLAH MY LORD MAKE ME SOMEONE WHO ESTABLISHES THE PRAYER AND MAKE MY PROGENY ALSO THOSE TYPE OF PEOPLE
RABANA- O LORD, O MASTER

NAA- OUR!

Our lord, our master

WHEN WE STARTED IT SAID MY

NOW ITS SAYING OUR

Because we started off making dua for ourselves

THEN we made dua for progeny

NOW COLLECTIVELY, together
WATAQABAL DUA- comes from root word QABL, meaning IN FRONT

Qablahu- before it

Istiqbal- to receive or welcome someone, because you face them

Tabqbeel- to kiss, you face something when you kiss it

Wa taqbal- face off, completion

LOVINGLY ACCEPT is what it means

It uses the word TO FACE SOMETHING is where love comes from

If you brought something, and I don’t even look at you and say “k, leave it on the table” what type of impression would you have, what is my relationship with you and what you are giving?

What if I take it facing you?
MY LORD, MY MASTER

LOVINGLY ACCEPT MY SUPPLICATION!

Because supplication started individually!
RABANA- our Lord!

IGFIRLEE- to COVER , to delete, to remove, to bury

FORGIVE ME!

WALI WAALIDAYA-4 WORDS

Wa- and

li-for

waaliday-parents

ya-my
AND FOR MY PARENTS

Forgive me AND FORGIVE MY PARENTS

Why did it go back from collective to singular?

Because Quranic language is very precise.

WE ARE ASKING FORGIVENESS FOR SINS, is there such a thing as collective sins? No its individual,

WHEN WE ASK FOR FORGIVENESS IT SHIFTS BACK TO INDIVIDUAL

WHEN WE ASK FOR PARENTS,DO WE ALL HAVE SAME PARENTS? NO IT SHIFTS BACK TO INDIVIDUAL!
WORDS USED FOR OUR PARENTS

There are 2 words

Walidaan/waalidayn

Abawaan/abiwayn

Both words mean parents

There is a rhetorical function in classical arabic

If there are 2 separate words that are constantly mentioned together over and over again, all the time, like sun and moon, sun and moon, sun and moon, etc. It beings to get tedious, so what you do is you take ONE of the words, what ever is easier to work with and you put it into the DUAL form, the PAIR form, like QAMR, so it would be QAMRAIN looks like 2 moons, but it really means SUN AND MOON
Another example:

AbuBakr and Umar, you talk about them a lot, you constantly talk about them together,

So you can do something

You can take the one easier to work with say

UMAR is short, and you put it into its dual form

And you say

Umraan (MEANS 2 umars) – it doesn’t mean 2 Umars but it really means AbuBakr and Umar

When you read umraan you know it talks about Abu bakr as well.

HASAN and HUSAYN, if you say that a lot its gets difficult so you take one that is easier to work with

And say HASNAAyn – it really means hasan AND husayin

THIS IS THE FUNCTION OF language
SIMILAIRY for parents,

You have abawaan,

Abba-dad

Ummi-mom
Over and over again, ab um ab um

So you take ab

And make into dual form

You get ABAWAAN (two dads)

Looks like 2 fathers but really it means FATHER AND MOTHER.

Walidaan/walidayn

Comes from root word WA LA DA means to give birth.

Who gives birth? MOTHER

She is called WAAALIDAH,

Father is called waalid by extension
Instead of constantly saying waalid, waalidah over and over again

You can make its dual form which is waalidayn(father and mother)

ABA WAAN points MORE towards the dad

Waalidayn points more towards the mom (Because root of word birth)

IN THE QURAN, ALLAH TELLS US TO BE GOOD TO OUR PARENTS

TO HONOR OUR PARENTS

TO MAKE DUA FOR OUR PARENTS

WHICH word does Allah use? WAALDAYN! Saying be good to your parents and be little more good to your MOTHER

And when Allah talks about inheritance, Allah used the ABAWAYN!

When taking about financial responsibly, Allah uses the word ABAWAYN

When he talks about forgiveness and kindness , and mercy, Allah uses the word walidayn
ALLAH STARTS SURAH…(get which surah it is)

In the middle, Allah talks about mother carrying child, difficulty over difficulty, then delivering the child

After born its not over, the hardship continues.

It clings to the mother

The child is stuck to the mother for at least 2 years

Cannot clean itself,

Cannot feed itself

Allah mentions the age

When our mothers gave THE MOST for us, went through the hardest time- we don’t remember!!!

We don’t remember when we were born

We don’t remember our Infancy

When our mother would literally LIVE FORRR US

Eat

Sleep

THIER ENTIRE LIVES REVOLVED AROUND US

WE DON’T REMEMBER THAT!

As we get older our needs get more and more attached to our fathers

First time you need cell phone, who do you ask? Father

First time you want to drive, get a laptop, etc who do you ask? Father

Then we are very grateful to our dads

BUT ALL THAT OUR MOTHER’S GAVE US WE DON’T REMEMBER

AND because of their loving nature, WE MORE EASILY TAKE OUR MOTHERS FOR GRANTED

SubhanAllah, mothers are strangest of creation ,there is no logic in being a mother.
You can be bad, rude, mean,

Disrespectful

She could be yelling at you but she will still be cooking your food

They have that undying love

They cant help but care
Parents say a lot to their kids ”when you have children you will realize”

ITS ABOSIULTY TRUE

WHEN YOU HAVE KIDS you realize
For sisters when you have kids you realize and appreciate mother much more

Brothers you will look at your wife and how dedicated and devoted she is to your child, and you’ll realize MY MOTHER DID THIS FOR ME AS WELL

When my older daughter was a year old, she got sick, and my wife was sick at the same time, I said don’t worry I will take care of her, you go rest

She said NO, I will take care of her

When you realize, subhanAllah THIS IS HOW DEDICATED OUR MOTHER WAS
WA LILMUMiNEENA-

AND ALL THE BELEIVERS

Lets talk about the word mumin (mumineena is plural)

Comes from root of IMAAN, comes from root A-MAN (means security, feel safe and secure, feel peace, safety)

Imaan comes from IMAAN as root meaning for believing

BECAUSE WHEN WE PUT OUR IMAAN IN ALLAH WE GET A SENSE OF SECURITY

This is important to tell youth, there is a lot of DISPARIGING of religion, they say religion is for weak minded people, they say you are TRAPPED in the religion, its a jail, its a psychological prison, IMAAN FREES YOU, imaan makes your life so much better and lifts so many worries and burdens.
You realize NOT EVERYTHING DEPENDS ON ME!

I PUT MY IMAAN IN ALLAH, NOW I LIVE A WORRY FREE LIFE, ALL I HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT IS WHATMAKE ALLAH HAPPY, I JUST DO WHAT EVER MY LORD TELLS ME TO. That’s it

MUMIN is one who believes, HE HAS ATTAINED A SENSE OF SECURITY BY PUTTING HIS FAITH AND TRUST IN ALLAH
YAWMA- the day of

YAKOOM- it will be ESTBALISHED,

AL HISAAB- means accountability
It is different from counting

Hisaab means TO VERY ACCURATELY AND PRECISELY COUNT EVERYTHING

SUPPLICATION 3

PAGE 22.

ONE OF MY FAVORITE SUPPLICATIONS
ALLAHUMA- O ALLAH
INNI- MOST DEFINETLY !

DHALAMTU- ROOT IS dhulm (oppression) root of the word means in Arabic TO PUT SOMETHING WHERE IT DOESN’T BELONG, to MISAPPROPRIATE is dhulm

Allah says shirkh is DHULM ADHEEM because you misappropriate Allah’s right to be worshiped and you give it to someone else

Oppression is misappropriating the rights of people

Committing sins is also dhulm BECAUSE YOU ARE misappropriating time, energy, intelligence and so many blessings that you were given by Allah TO SERVE ALLAH.

DHALAMTU- I HAVE WRONGED (past tense) significant because past tense CONFIRMS IT!

THIS PERSON IS CONFIRMING IT

You know someone does something wrong and they say “its possible it was my fault” he is not really accepting it, he is talking around it

And its another thing to say

“I WAS WRONG”

Dhalamtu I HAVE DONE WRONG, CONFIRMED FACT

Who have I done it against?

NAFSEE- MYSELF

I HAVE WRONGED MESELF

DHULMAN KATHEERAN!

We hard this in hamdan katheera…

AN AN AN

Its an exclamation mark!

Its creating that exclamation
DHULMAN- reemphasizing wrong

I HAVE DONE WRONG TO MYSELF HORRIBLE THINGS!

KATHEERAN- I HAVE DONE HORRIBLE THINGS, AND LOTS AND LOTS OF THEM
LISTEN TO THE GUILT BEING EXPRESSED IN THE STATEMENT

THIS PERSON IS SAYING I AM A BAD PERSON, NO BEETING AROUND THE BUSH, I HAVE DONE WRONG, I AM NOT EVEN GOING TO TRY TO DENY IT

HE IS ACCEPTING HE IS A CRIMINAL IN FRONT OF ALLAH
WA LAA YAGHFI (normal La)

GHAFARA- AND NO ONE CAN FORGIVE

ADHUNOOB- MEANS sins

IT’S THE PLURAL

DHAMB is singular

DHAMB means sin

But when noon and ba come together, you pronounce NOON like MEEM

This word comes from same root as THANAB (tail)

The word for sin comes from same word as tail of animal

Whats the connection with sins and tail?

WHEN EVER THE CAT RUNS THE TAIL FOLLOWS IT ALONG

Tail follows

It’s visual tool of the language! Arabic language is very visual

Imagery built into these words

IMAGINE, JUST LIKE THE CAT RUNS THE TAIL RUNS BEHIND IT

THE PSYCOLOGY OF HUMAN BEING IS SUCH SHAYTAAN tells humans you commit sin and you LEFT sin behind

The WORD FOR SIN REMIND US, THE SIN WASN’T LEFT IN THE ROOM IT WAS COMMITTED, IT IS FOLLWING YOU WHERE EVER YOU GO!
WHATS THE ONLY WAY TO GET RID OF THIS TAIL? TOWBA AND ISTAGHFAR, AND THIS TOWABA AND ISTIGHFAR ALSO FOLLOWS YOU!!!! LIKE A TAIL
WALAAYAGHFIRUDHUNUBA

AND NO ONE CAN FORGIVE EXCEPT FOR YOU!

Listen to this statement
We have said, I have messed up a lot,

KATHEERAN

And then we are saying NO one CAN FORGIVE SINS EXCEPT YOU
You know a friend comes to you late at night, you ask if everything is alright, and the first thing he starts of with is “there is no one else I can go to other than you…” why is he stating off with those words. He is showing you desperation, he is saying NO is NOT an option here! Don’t turn me away,

He begins with that.

We begin by saying THERE IS NO ONE WHO CAN FORGIVE SINS EXCEPT YOU

ITS THAT DESPERAION

THE HELPLESSNESS!
FAGRIFEE-

Fa- so, therefore

IGHFIRLEE- forgive me
MAGHFRBTAN

The AN is there

COMPLETEEEEE FORGIVENESS

WIPE MY SLATE CLEAN!

MIN- from

ENDA- near or behalf

KA- your
FROM YOUR BEHALF, from near you doesn’t make sense,
There are EXPRESSIONS, figures of speech and to assume you can word for word dissect and get understanding is a huge misconception
MIN ENDEK

MEANSvAS A FAVOR FROM YOU

COMPLETY FORGIVE ME, WIPE MY SLATE CLEAN, AS A FAVOR FROM YOU!

Even in this is a lesson

I CANNOT DEMAND THIS FORGIVEBESS, I AM NOT DESERVING OF IT, BUT I AM BEGGING, I AM PLEADING, DO IT AS FAVOR FROM YOU
WARHAMNI- have mercy on me
INNA- MOST CERTAINLY, DEFINITLY,

KA- YOU

ANTA- you
The word “you” repeated twice? Its an effect, when you learn balagha, rhetotric, when you CREATE THIS COMBINATION, WHEN YOU REPEAT PRONOUNS you create the MEANING OF EXCLUSIVITY
MOST DEFINITELY YOU AND ONLY YOU!

GHAFOOR

MEANS CONSTANTLY FORGIVE

MOST DEFINITELY YOU AND ONLY YOU CAN CONSTANTLY FORGIVE
Why constantly? We already establishED I MAKE A LOT OFVMISTAKES,THAT I DO IT ABUNDANTLY

O ALLAH pleasE forgive me constantly

RAHEEM- CONSTANTLY MERCIFUL
You see a correlation of forgiveness and mercy, there is a connection!
O ALLAH MOST DEFINITELY I HAVE WRONGED MY SELF IN A HORRIBLE WAY OVER AND OVER AGAIN THERE IS NO ONE ESLE I CAN GO TO FOR FORGIVENESS OTHER THAN YOU O ALLAH I BEG YOU, I PLEAD YOU, WIPE MY SLATE CLEAN BECAUSE ONLY YOU AND ONLY YOU CAN CONSTANTLY FORIGIVE AND CONSTANTLY GIVE MERCY
Here comes the catch, mind-blowing point,

Prophet taught this to WHO?

ABU BAKR!! THE BEST OF THE BEST!

Prophet told him

YOUUUUUUU READ THIS SUPPLICATION EVERYR TIME YOU PRAY

IF HEEEEE NEEDED THE SUPPLICATION, WHERE DO YOU THINK YOU AND I STAND??????!

4.04 TASLIM

Saying salaam is just a method for existing prayer

When in jamaat you are doing it to people in congregation

When you are by yourself you are doing it to the angels

4.05 SUPPLICATION AND REMEMBRANCE AFTER TASLIM

PG23

DUAS THAT CAN BE READ AFTER SALAH

Some things the Prophet pbuh taught us specific things to do after prayer

ASTIFGRIHGULLAH- THREE TIMES

Root word is GHA FA RA-

Letter Seen and Letter ta added to it means SEEKING, WANTING SOMETHING

ASTAGHFIROO I seek Forgiveness

WE JUST FINISHED AN ACT FO OBEDIENCE, AT THE END WE SAY I SEEK FORGIVENESS!!

WHY?

Because of the MISTAKES we made in salah

This is an important lesson on HOW we worship

Afterwards we don’t feel like we have done a lot!

YOU NEED TO BE HUMBLE,

How you SHOULD HAVE prayed and how you actually prayed are world apart, as Allah to accept what ever you could do and forgive the mistakes and shortcomings.
ALLAHUM ANTASALAAMU WAMINKASALAAMU
ALLHUMA- O ALLAH

ANTA- YOU

ASALAAM- the root of this word SEEN LAAM MEEM SA LI MA, it means to BE SAFE, or to be at PEACE, from this we have greeting that we give to each other,

An ATTRIBUTE of Allah is ASSALAM- THE ONE WHO IS THE GRANTER OF PEACE AND SAFETY, THE ONE WHO GIVES AND GRANTS

ISLAM and MUSLIMS

ISLAM- means to submit,

Muslim is one who submits

How does submit come from peace and safety? BECAUSE THE ONLY WAY TO ATTAIN PEACE AND SAFETY IS TO SUBMIT TO ALLAH. THAT’S HOW WE GET TRUE PEACE and TRUE SAFETY

The Prophet pbuh would send letters to kings and other leaders and include

AS-LIM TASLA(submit, you will become safe)

SOOLUM- mean stairs

What do stairs or ladders have to do with safety?

The classical arabs would sometimes names things based on how they felt about them, they felt words were powerful, if we gave certain names, they would have effects on them.

Around ladders/stairs, people can fall, people can get hurt so they want people to be careful around ladders/stairs.

So when they looked at stairs or ladders, they named it as SAFETY, every time you say it , it comes from safety so it reminded person going up and down stairs to CONSTANTLY be safe
O ALLA YOU ARE THE GRANTOR OF PEACE AND SAFETY
WA-MIN KA

AND FROM YOU

IS ASSLAAAM (PEACE N SAFETY)
TABAARAKTA- comes from baraqaho it’s a VERB, it means MOST BLESSED ARE YOU!
YA- O

DHA- the possessor of

AL JALAAL- means MAGNIFECENCE, SPLENDOR,

WAL IKRAAM- means nobility,
O ALLAH YOU ARE THE GRANTER OF PEACE AND SAFTEY, IT ONLY COMES FROM YOU ,

MOST BLESSED ARE YOU, O GRANTER AND POSSESOR, OF MAGNIFICENCE AND NOBILITY

Skipped supplication 4 on page 23

SUPPLICATION 5

Pg.24

SUBHANALLAH- HOW AMAZINGLY PERFECT IS ALLAH!
WALHAMDULILLAH- and THE ULTIMATE PRAISE IS FOR ALLAH! HE IS DESERVING OF ALL PRAISE
ALLAHUAKBAR- ALLAH IS GREATER THAN ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING

(say 33 times each)

34 times if for sleeping
LAILLAHA ILALAHU- this is SPECIAL LA (ABSOLUTELY NO)
Ilaa ha- no one is worthy of worship

Ila- except for

Allah-
WAHDAHU- UNIQUE IS HE

Hu- is he

LA- the special La,

SHAREEKA- PARNTERS

LA HU- for him

LAHUL MULK- DOMINON
ONLY FOR HIM IS THE DOMINION AND KINGSHIP
WALAHULHAMD- and only for him is ALL PRAISE
WA HU WA- and

Hu wa- He

AND HE IS
ALAA- OVER

KULI- TOTAL, ALL,

The word for total is JAEE’ in classical Arabic the word KUL when used in certain ways it means EACH AND EVERY SINGLE

SHAY IN- thing

EACH AND EVERYSINGLE THING

WAHUWA- AND HIS IS
QADEER- root is qudrah means ABALITY, ability to do

THE ONE WHO IS CONSTATNLY CAPABLE AND ABLE TO DO WHATEVER

AND HE IS OVER EACH AND EVERY SINGLE THING, CONSTANTLY CAPABLE

Each and every single is FINE TUNED in the language. Quran language is VERY FINE TUNED, it doesn’t leave any gaps!

THIS CONCLUDES THE STUDY OF THE CORE OF SALAH

WE INTRDUCED WHAT DOES SALAH MEANS, IMPORTANCE OF SALAH, IMPORTANCE OF KHUSHOO

WE DID TAKBIR

THEN OPENING SUPPLICATIONS

THEN WE DID AUTHUBILLAH

THEN WE DID BASMALA

THEN WE DID SURAH FATIHA

THEN WE DID RUKU

THEN WE DID STANDING UP FROM RUKU

THEN WE DID SUJOOD

THEN WE DID SITTING BETWEEN SUJOOD-

THEN ATIYHYAAT

THEN WE SEND SALAAM ON PROPHET

THEN WE DID DUA SUPPLICAITONS

THEN WE DID DUAS AFTER SALAH
NOW WE DO QUNOOT
5.01 QUNOOT

Top of page 25

There is a difference of opinion with what is read

There are 2 narrations

One is from Abdullah ibn Masood

Second comes from Hasan, the grandson of the Prophet pbuh

First Narration- qunoot means “complete, total , obedience”
ALLAHUMA- O ALLAH

INNNAA- MOST DEFINITELY WE (PLURAL) INNAAAA

NASTAEENUUKA

NASTAEEN- SEEK ASSITANCES

WE SEEK ASSITANCE FROM KA (YOU)

WE SEEK ASSISTANCE FROM YOU

INNA NASTEENUKA
WA NASTAGHFIRUKA WE SEEK FORGIVENESS FROM YOU
WA NUMINuka COMES FROM IMAAN, we believe

We believe in

BI KA- IN YOU

Ba is used to be more firmly WE FIRMLY BELIEVEIN YOU

WA NA TA WAKALU- comes from root wa ka la which literally means TO LEAN ON SOMETHING, (wa kaltu) FROM THAT COMES WORD wakeel (YOU LEAN ON HIM TO REPESENT YOU AND SPEAK ON HIS BEHALF

TAWAKUL – comes from same root

It’s a form of word that implies STRUGGLE,

WE STRUGGLE TO RELY ON YOU

TO LEAN ON YOU

Meaning its not just a one shot thing, its something people struggle with. We keep on trying

ALAYKA- UPON YOU

When you lean on something, you put YOUR WHOLE WEIGHT ON IT, it releives you!

You throw all your weight on wall, you don’t want chair

It relaxes you

It relives you

WE PUT OUR TRUST COMPLETLY ON ALLAH!! Its meant to relax you, to make your life simpler

WA NUSTHNEE- root word is THANAA- means to stack, to fold

WE STACK, we fold, we ATTRIBUTE, WE COMPLETY DEDICATE and acknowledge

ALAYKA- upon you

WE ARE STACKING

ALKHAIR- THAT WHICH IS GOOD (general word for good)

ALL GOOD!

WE ATTRIBUTE TO YOU, WE ACKNOWLEDGE ALL GOOD COMES FROM ALLAH, WE STACK IT ON TO HIM, WE ATTRIBUTE IT TO HIM,
THE WORD KHAYR

The word KHAYR in interesting

It’s the opposite of SHAR

In its origin, even the sound of it

KHAYR is when things are consolidated, organized

Shar is when things are spread out

If you walk into room and there are papers all over the place, across the room, it bothers you!

You see papers EVERYWHERE it will bother you,

Imagine all those papers are neatly stacked and folded all into the middle of the room on the table, its ORGANIZATION, CLEANLINESS, its appealing,

KHAYR means something is organized, good

SHAR is spread out, its disorganized, no organization.
WA NASHKURUKA-

Nashkuruka comes from root word SHUKR which means to be grateful, thankful,

WE ARE GRATEFUL TO YOU, TO ALLAH,
WA LAA NAKFURUKA comes from root word KUFR

KUFR in its origin refers to sowing a seed,

The process of farming, they turn soil, put seeds in ground

KUFR MEANS TO PUSH SOMETHING UNDER, PUSH SOMETHING INSIDE (like seed)

You stuffed it under,

That’s what kufr means

Then in terms of gratefulness, it means UNGRATEFUL

Farmer is called kaafir, even Quran used it in that tone

Because what are we supposed to do with blessing? We are supposed to say ALHUMDULLILAH. When someone is ungrateful they are HIDING THE BLESSING OF ALLAH and not acknowledging that favor bestowed upon them
In faith and imaan, it means to disbelieve, he is suppressing and hiding his true nature (fitrah)
WALAANASHKURKA

WALAA NAKFURUKA- WE WILL NOT BE UNGRATEFUL TO YOU (NORAML LA)

WA NAKHLAOO- KH LA a’ mean to remove something that is attached to you

When Prophet Musa walked into the valley fakhlaa (remove your shoes) was used

WE DETACH, WE REMOVE
NATH RU KU- root word means TO LEAVE, OR WALK AWAY FROM SOMETHING
WE REMOVE, WE DETACH AND “NATRUKU” WE WALK AWAY, LEAVE BEHIND (who are we detaching? Who are we leaving behind?
MAYN- the one who
YAFJURUKA-

Ka- you

Yafjuruka root word FAJR , means BREAK SOMETHING OPEN, SMASH SOMETHING OPEN, RIP SOMETHING OPEN,

The time for fajr is called that because DARKNESS is BROKEN OPEN, darkness is ripped apart

FUJOOR- type of sinning in which he OPENINGLY SINS, ARROGANTLY SINS to a point where he does it openly without ANY remorse he’s like SO WHAT, what are you going to do about it.

YAFJURKU- the one who OPENLY, UNABASHIDLY, VERY OPENELY INTENTIONALLY DISOBEYS YOU

WE DETACH THIS TYPE OF PERSON AND WALK AWAY, LEAVE THEM BEHIND

Important lesson! Especially for younger brothers and sisters

IMPORTANCE OF THOSE AROUND YOU

THE COMPANY YOU KEEP, THE PEOPLE YOU ASSOCIATE YOURSELF WITH, THE PEOPLE YOU REMAIN IN,

We are so concerned with dawah, nasiha, giving dawah, but do NOT let it be at the expense of your own imaan!!!!

His teacher said when you give nasiha to someone, if you are not having an effect on them, then realize THEY are having an effect on you! SOMEONE IS WINNING, THERE CANNOT BE TWO LOSERS, SOMEONE IS GETTING THE UPPER HAND!

IF YOU ARE NOT RUBBING OFF ON THEM, IF YOU HAVE BEEN HANGING OUT WITH THEM THEN REALIZE THEY ARE RUBBING OFF ON YOU!

WE WILL DETACH OURSELVES, AND REMOVE OURSELVES FROM PEOPLE THAT WILL VERY OPENLY, just don’t care, very intentionally sin

Almost like they are BRAGGING, with them we keep a distance from them!
Teacher is imam, people bring problems to you, so you learn certain things

Parents are very concerned about their youth, about the company they keep but problem is THEY are not willing to watch their own company!

So we will have free mixing parties and the second I see my son talking to girl, it’s the end of the world.

My children better not even think about it!...

What about me?
WE AS PARENTS NEED TO MAKE SACRIFICES

TILL THIS DAY

WHEN HE WAS BORN THE WAS PEOPLE AROUND THAT TIME, there were few family we were close with, but there was certain thing in their lives they would do like sing, smoking drinking, cursing,

So we used to stay away from them

We need to keep like minded company
LESSON FOR YOUTH, watch your company,

For parents WE NEED TO ABIDE BY THE SAME RULES. IT APPLIES TO US AS MUCH AS TO OUR YOUTH.

ALLAH HUMA-

IYAAKA NABUDU-

O ALLAH , ONLY YOU WE WORSHIP

WALAKA NUSALI-

LA-for

Ka-you

Order is reverse

ONLY FOR YOU DO WE PRAY

We ONLY offer salah for the sake of Allah

WA NAS JUDU

Root is sa ja da(means to put face on ground)

WE PRERFORM SUJOOD , PUT FACE ON GROUND ONLY FOR YOU
WA ILAYKA-

Ilaa- Towards, to

Ka- you

ONLY TO YOU, TOWARDS YOU

NAS’AA- means to rush towards goals and objective, and only to you are we rushing towards

TOWARDS YOU WE RUSH, YOU ARE OUR OBEJECTIVE, OUR GOAL, TOWORDS YOU WE RUSH

WA NAHFIDU

NAHFIDU- root means to COLLECT ALL OF YOUR RESOURCES, TO FOCUS ALL OF YOUR ENERGY

ROOT word – HA FA DA

ONLY TOWARDS YOU WE FOCUS ALL OUR ENERGY AND RESOURCES

WA NARJU

NARJU comes from RA JAA means to have HOPE

AND WE HAVE HOPE, (WE HOPE FOR..)
RAHMATAKA- your mercy

WE HOPE FOR YOUR MERCY

WA NAKHSHAA

KHASHYA- means to OVERWHLEMD BY SOMETHING,

WE ARE OVERHWLEMD BY..
ADHTAABAKA-

ADHAAB mean punishment

KA- YOUR

ADHAAB-

I have need to connect word to root

But adhaab was a word where he couldn’t find root

Adhaab means punishment

Comes from root word ADHBOON (means for something to be very very sweet)

What does sweetness have to do with punishment?

Arabic is very structured language!

But even Arabic is a language, it is people based

Sometimes certain words becomes FREE FROM ROOTS

There is no logical conclusion

It just completely spins off

In this case that’s what happened

Language is people based

The language has a lot of logical things in it

Broken plurals

INA- most definitely

ADHAABAKA- your punishment
BIL KUFAAR- the plural of kaafir

DISBELEIVERS those that are ungrateful

BA- with

MOST DEFINITELY YOUR PUNISHEMENT WITH DISBIEVERS (UNGRATEFUL PEOPLE

IS

MUL HIK- means to ATTATCH TO SOMETHING

MOSTDEF your punishment is attached to those who disbelieve (those that are ungrateful)

They cant get away from it! ITS ATTATCHED TO THEM!
GHAFARA- means to cover but not a negative connection. So if you have stain, you put rug,- ghafara ,it’s a positive

KAFAR- to forcefully push something down but its NEGATIVE
