GPrix project (ESTER Technopole, in charge of the science and technology park, will cooperate closely with other UNIC stakeholders in the field of innovation by taking part in a FP7 project led by INOVA+ that focuses on good practices in innovation support : measures of support for SMEs which facilitate a faster transition from traditional economies into a knowledge society, and will develop benchmarks for SME support)
Promote the adoption of legal measures at national and European level to protect the denomination of origin « Porcelaine de Limoges » at national, European, and international levels, thus strengthening the ceramics industry of Limoges by facilitating coordination between local companies. At the same time, facilitate relations between stakeholders in the ceramics industry : between research and innovation clusters and companies and associations that specialize in art and design. Contacts with Ceramie-Unie and the Ceramic Forum of the European Parliament will be pursued for this purpose.
