Variance reasons current status

Migration of at least 5 large ICT SMMEs into mainstream (non SMME) businesses facilitated	Department developed a draft framework for the migration of large ICT SMMEs into mainstream businesses. Consultations were held with Microsoft as the multinational to be initially targeted with this program.		X		Delays are due to the lack of signing of the Equity Equivalent Agreement between Microsoft and the DTI. DoC is making efforts to expedite signing of Agreement.
7 SMMEs identified and selected to participate in the Equity Equivalent Program
Alignment of the plans of SAPO, Sentech, USAASA, NEMISA and SABC with government priorities ensured	Department received and reviewed the Corporate and Strategic Plans of the Entities through workshops. Undertook the consolidation and analysis of the budgets of the Entities and commenced with the process of facilitating the presentation of the Corporate and Strategic Plans to Minister before presentation to Parliament.
