Resolution 15 – ISO/IEC CD 29199-3: JPEG XR image coding system – Motion JPEG XR
WG 1 approves progression of the draft text for ISO/IEC 29199-3 CD provided in WG1N4932 and requests the editors to produce the ballot text by 1 March 2009 to HOD for information. Final version will be submitted by 13 March 2009 for CD ballot consideration.
Resolution 16– Study text and ballot comments for ISO/IEC CD 29199-4: JPEG XR image coding system – Conformance testing
WG 1 thanks the National Bodies of Germany and the United States for their valuable comments on the ballot for ISO/IEC CD 29199-4, and requests its members to endeavor to address the issues raised in these comments toward issuing FCD at the 48th (Maui) WG 1 meeting. WG 1 approves WG1N4873 as a study text toward this goal.

WG 1 thanks the National Bodies of Japan and the United States for their valuable comments on the ballot for ISO/IEC CD 29199-5, and requests its members to endeavor to address the issues raised in these comments toward issuing FCD at the 48th (Maui) WG 1 meeting. WG 1 approves WG1N4867 as a study text toward this goal.
WG1 approves the document on the Call for Advanced Image Coding technologies and evaluation methodologies as contained in WG1N4915 and invites National Bodies and delegates to provide comments and feedback, and to distribute it through appropriate channels.

WG1 approves the AIC Core Experiments 1.0 on quality metric benchmark as contained in WG1N4913.
WG 1 approves the establishment of C Liaison with VSF (Video Services Forum) as shown in WG1N4934and approves the appointment of Mr. Dale Stolitzka (US), as the official liaison to VSF.
Resolution 6– Approval of liaison statement to SMPTE
WG1 approves the liaison document to SMPTE, as contained in WG1N4930 for Digital Cinema and WG1N4931 for Broadcast applications.
WG1 approves the liaison document to FIAF concerning archive applications, as contained in WG1N4891.
Resolution 8– Approval of liaison statement to WG11 PA-AF group
WG1 approves the liaison document to WG11 PA-AF group concerning archive applications, as contained in WG1N4893.
Resolution 9– Communication to ITU-T SG 16 on JPEG XR
WG 1 approves the outgoing liaison statement WG1N4925 to ITU-T Study Group 16, in which a request is made for ITU-T Rec. A.8 AAP Consent toward standardization of "Recommendation T.JXR" as a technically aligned twin text for ISO/IEC 29199-2 and its workplan and the status information are conveyed for other planned joint work items.
