English spreads widely in each countries, no matter the area of region or information transfer, English becomes an important position in global language. As the specification of a global language, it essentially refers to a language that learned and spoken internationally, so English can be the most out-standing. According to the number of English-speaking calculations, English is the official language used by most countries, English is the most widely used second language in the world, and the percentage of web pages with English content is estimated to be over 50% (Crystal, 2003). For example, business activities always use English. Some multinational enterprises company require employee to have a high level English skill, so that they can communicate with the partner very easily. Good communication can obtain high benefit in business. Many people of multinational company use English as a world language. You will hear business people use English in many cities. They need to understand English and use English to express thoughts and ideas. Also, English is always used in education. When teacher use English to teach, student can learn a lot of words that can be use in different subject. If student do not learn English as well, they should spend much more time on their study, not only in the knowledge, but also in English. Nowadays, more and more people learn English and English become more important to Chinese. Not only must children learn English from kindergarten but also people who do not understand English cannot work at government (IBJ, 2014). English is an international language of communication (Nunan, 2003). So that English is a necessary basic skill for human. For instance, we meet lots of people who came from different countries in our daily life. Since our mother language is different, we can use English to be a lingua franca to communicate with them and try to understand their culture easily. Also English is the language that consociate the whole World (Pike, 2013). It is important to learn English for being a global citizen - a person that can live anywhere, thrive anywhere, and speak to anyone (Pike, 2013), the more people learn English, the more people can approach to the World. That means different countries can exchange their idea, knowledge and technology by using English. English lead our country to be more developed and wealthy.

Books, magazines, and newspapers written in English are available in many countries around the world, and English is the most commonly used language in the sciences with Science Citation Index reporting as early as 1997 that 95% of its articles were written in English, even though only half of them came from authors in English-speaking countries.
This increasing use of the English language globally has had a large impact on many other languages, leading to language shift and even language death and to claims of linguistic imperialism. English itself has become more open to language shift as multiple regional varieties feed back into the language as a whole.
