METAL SEPERATION PROCESS ON CONVEYOR WAGON

The project consists conveyor wagon, conveyor motor, PLC, Power Supply, seperator arm and specific sensors(proximity switches).
In the project, the conveyor wagon starts moving when an object is put on it. To detect whether there is an object or not on the wagon, a photoelectric switch is used.At the beginning, sensor controlled a process timer, which counts up to process time starts(it is the time interval that the object stays on the conveyor vagon. If another object is seen by the sensor before the process time, timer resets to zero and starts counting again).Another timer is also started at the beginnig to determine when the motor should stop to check object whether it is metal or not.
At the end of the conveyor, a seperator arm controlled by proximity sensor is located to seperate metal and nonmetal objects.
The number of metal and nonmetal objects are counted by two counters. Numbers are displayed on the TD200.
