Adults interested in cooking and eating different cultural tastes. Basic level of the English Language is sufficient to follow up the programme.
Main activities Programme + Programme translation:
Basic training about how to cook a kind of kebab called Cokertme and how to cook someTurkish traditional desserts. Participants will get an overview on other European tradition and heritage and develop and appreciate their neighbours culture.
Day 1 - Arrival Day.
Day 2 -Getting to know each other, general information about the programme. Introducing necessary equipments for cooking cokertme kebab. Doing a peeling application with vegetables necessary for the kebab. Learning some Turkish words which are useful in daily life.
Day 3 - Preperation of the meat in the kitchen which is used in cokertme kebeb. Learning to make one of a traditional dessert named kazandibi.
Day 4 - Preperation of other ingredients in the kitchen which are needed to make cokertme kebab. Doing an application how to serve the meals and show the table layout. Learning to make one of a traditional dessert named tavukgöğsü.
Day 5 - Learning to make different sauces for the kebab and how to prepare the plate for an effective presentation. Learning to make a traditional dessert named sütlaç.
Day 6 - Cooking practice for all participants in the kitchen. Getting feedbacks from the participants through questionnaires. Exhibiting of participants cooking products. Preparing a photo-album of the workshop.
Day 7 - Sightseeing to city center, museums, historical places and departure of the participants.

Making 3D Animated Movies

Unemployed adults and adults who are interested in technology, especially in making animated movies.
Main activities Programme + Programme translation:
DAY 1 - Introduction of training institute, teachers and tutors of the workshop, the project and the training modules and 3D Studio MAX, participants will learn the panels and toolbars of the 3dsMax and they get the ability to use all the menus for themselves, practical exercises, visit to the town with a guide.
DAY 2 - Start to draw objects with the transform tools moving the objects, turning them and scaling the objects.
DAY 3 - Learning to use the display panel to hold back and freeze the objects and making a new object with a grouping of different objects.
DAY 4 - Learning to set the stage and scaling the stage by the snap tools.To make up the object like chair, table or sofa and changes on its coordinate systems.
DAY 5 - Learning with the copy tools modelling and drawing the objects more faster. To make up the animated objects.
DAY 6 - Thanks to the modifiers giving the effect to the objects and through the effects, objects can be drawn in a different style and shape or draw different objects. Exemplary drawing of vase and symmetrical embossed objects will be done.
DAY 7 -Compound Objects and Loft Menu trees, walls, doors, stairs or other architectural design drawings. The objects such as houses or street which will be used in animation drawing.
DAY 8 - With Material Editor making face and appearence to the drawn objects. With the lights; menu lights, shadows and reflection can be added to the objects. In animation drawing sunset and wallpaper objects with light menu.
DAY 9 - Video Post: Adding the video camera into the objects for watching inside of the objects. Through the particle system making animation such as rain, snow or explosion.
DAY 10 - Certificate ceremony. Exhibition and departure of participants.

Let's Create Our Own Ebru Designs on Textile through its Historical Background

Main activities Programme + Programme translation:
The Workshop content will be about the history of Ebru and learning basic steps how to make ebru and transferring Ebru designs to textile to have magnificant accessories such as scarves, shawls, ties, handkerchiefs, etc. The working language will be English. However, basic level of English is sufficient to follow the programme. If you are interested in getting knowledge about ebru history and learning how to make ebru and especially creating your own ebru accessories made of textile you can apply for this workshop.
The programme: Opening ceremony of the Workshop, getting to know each other, having a European table consists of different cultural food and goods from participant's countries, giving general information about the workshop programme. Giving information and exchanging ideas about the history of ebru. Introducing necessary equipments/tools for Ebru. Teaching basic skills in ebru Art. Practising materials and techniques. Producing ebru products on paper. Transfering ebru designs on prepared cloth/textile. Evaluations, discussions and getting the reflections. Study visits to city center, universities, museums, historical places. Exhibiting participants’ products (EBRU European Exhibition). Closing ceremony.
