Main activities Programme + Programme translation:
We will alternate between practicing dances and games, small theoretical units and interacting with and getting to know the local intentional community of the Ecovillage Sieben Linden. The participants will get to know a variety of traditional dances from various countries around Europe and Israel, experiencing directly the diversity of temperaments among the different cultures as part of Europe’s cultural heritage. Cooperative games, as opposed to most traditional games have neither winners nor losers. This permits all players to have fun, relax and enjoy themselves. This type of games can enrich everyone’s lives and be used at parties, meetings, to get to know each other in a group of unfamiliar people and many other ways. This workshop focuses especially on the community building aspects of both games and circle dances. Participants will experience how dancing and playing together brings people closer, bridges differences in background, age and culture and builds group spirit. Partly, the work will be done in smaller groups assembled according to participant’s interests. Here, Participants will prepare and practice facilitating a dance or game and teaching it to others. On the last day, the workshop participants and facilitators will host an afternoon/evening open to the local public offering the games and dances learned during the previous days for all to participate, a moment of celebration.

We would like to impart you a new understanding of health and put all the following contents above the motto: promotion of health, prevention of stress and burnout and what does it mean for me as a woman? We will: - relieve pressure, relax and do sport (Nordic-Walking), - get to know differences between passive recreation (such as massage, sauna, hot springs) and active recreation (such as autogenic training, progressive relaxation of the muscles, yoga, breath exercises, basic types of meditation) and practise them, - identify stress factors and elements which undermine our live energy, - find out how to deal with them, - get to know what burnout is and how a woman can protect and encourage herself, - learn how women can establish a good balance between exertion and recreation, - reflect together why it is important to illuminate the topic under a female point of view, - get to know the development of female roles in Germany on original scenes in Nuremberg, - sound our comfort- and stress zone on low level ropes (if you wish on high level ropes, too), - find out how alimentation and prevention of stress and burnout belong together, - learn how to reduce stress during buying and cooking and to use these two activities to promote my health, - during all this topics be aware of the cultural diversity of this multinational group and get information about our origin and the realities of our lives, - look through another cultural pair of glasses, not just through our one, - have a nice fare well party at the end of the workshop.
