Kim Kardashian was seen buying a bunch of copies of Vogue magazine with her and Kanye West on the cover. You can’t blame Kim because it’s such a rare occasion when she gets any media attention.

INSELTOWN TATTLER…

JODIE FOSTER and girlfriend ALEXANDRA HEDISON, who started dating last summer, got married over the weekend. This comes 15 months after Jodie officially came out at the 2013 Golden Globes after years of speculation. Alexandra previously dated Ellen DeGeneres and played Dylan Moreland on the Showtime series “The L Word”.
White Collar’s MATT BOMER has revealed that he and longtime partner Simon Halls have been married since 2011, a year before he publicly came out. It turns out they also have three sons together, including a son via surrogacy.
GEORGE CLOONEY got into a whizzing match with Las Vegas casino mogul Steve Wynn. It actually happened a couple weeks ago and the beef was over President Obama. Clooney issued a statement saying that Wynn called the president an (expletive deleted) and criticized the Affordable Care Act. Clooney says he told Wynn the president was his longtime friend and Wynn said 'your friend is an (expletive deleted).' Clooney returned the compliment to Wynn and stormed off after the two exchanged a few more choice words. Wynn later said, "When he's drinking, (Clooney) considers himself a close personal buddy of the president." Wynn added, "Clooney's fun to be with when he's sober. If you have a chance to drink with him, you want to get there early, and don't stay late."
JOAN RIVERS tweaked off those women who were held hostage in the basement of a Cleveland home for 10 years. Joan was on the "Today" show this week talking about her daughter's guest room and said, "Those women in the basement in Cleveland had more space." The women said they were shocked and disappointed at the "hurtful" comment, but Joan is refusing their requests to apologize and says they shouldn't complain because "They got to live rent free for more than a decade." Joan also said they should lighten up, adding, "One of them has a book deal. Neither are in a psych ward. They're ok. I bet you within three years one of them will be on Dancing with the Stars."

INSELTOWN TATTLER 2…

SELENA GOMEZ has apparently ditched all of her famous friends on Instagram and Twitter. Among those un-followed are Taylor Swift, Reese Witherspoon, Vanessa Hudgens and both Kendall and Kylie Jenner. The last two are kind of surprising since they were all hanging out together at the first weekend of the Coachella Music Festival. Word is it’s all because of Justin Bieber. Taylor is known to hate Justin and supposedly gave Selena a him-or-me ultimatum. As for Kendall and Kylie, they’re supposedly out because they 'spent time' with Bieber.
JUSTIN BIEBER is apologizing after visiting Japan's Yasukuni war shrine this week. The shrine honors 2.5 million war dead, although China and South Korea see it as a symbol of Japan's past militarism and visits to it as a lack of understanding or remorse over wartime history. Bieber said he asked his driver to stop when he saw the shrine and that he was misled to think the Shrines were only places of prayer. Bieber wrote, “To anyone I have offended I am extremely sorry.” However, there was more bad news for Bieber as Actavis, the makers of the codeine-laced cough syrup used to make sizzurp, says they’re pulling their product off the market due to its misuse. It already sold for a whopping $800 per bottle, but one famous rapper has reportedly offered his dealer up to $100,000 to get as much of it as possible. Soulja Boy apparently scored six bottles and posted photos online.
CHRIS BROWN'S assault trial in Washington has been delayed again at least until June. The most recent delay is because Brown's bodyguard has opted not to testify in the case out of fear of self-incrimination because his lawyer has appealed his conviction on charges stemming from the same incident. Brown is being flown back to L.A. on one of those prisoner flights and he’ll be stuck in jail until the trial.

INSELTOWN TATTLER 3…

ICE ROAD TRUCKERS star TIM ZICKUHR is denying accusations about hiring a Las Vegas hooker last December. Zickuhr told TMZ he didn’t hire the woman and claims she's a friend and that he was trying to be a nice guy by loaning her money. He apparently admits to being stupid enough to give her his ATM card and PIN number and says that she cleaned him out. Zickuhr says he never tied her up, beat her or made her jump out of a window. (See here)
This story seems kind of iffy, but rumor has it that DAVID LETTERMAN decided to hang it up after the CBS brass told him they were bringing in some new hip, young writers to liven up the show in order to compete with Jimmy Fallon. They also supposedly ordered him to twist the arms of his A-list celebrity friends to boycott Fallon and appear only on the “Late Show.” A supposed insider says Dave admitted his show needed freshening up, but he told network boss Les Moonves that at age 67 he doesn’t have the energy to start fresh and he refused to lean on his famous friends.
The KIM KARDASHIAN-KANYE WEST issue of Vogue magazine is on track to sell between 300,000 and 400,000 copies, which is pretty impressive. However, a bunch of those issues are being bought by Kim and her family! Kim and Kendall Jenner were trailed by the paparazzi and their own camera crew this week as they each bought handfuls of the magazine.
OLIVIA WILDE sent out a tweet to announce the birth of her baby boy yesterday. Olivia tweeted: "Ladies and gentlemen, Otis Alexander Sudeikis has LEFT the building! (I'm the building)." She also included a black-and-white photo of the back of the baby's head cuddled up against her face. It's the first child for Wilde and her fiance, actor JASON SUDEIKIS. (See here)

HE WATERCOOLER…

Mark Shand, the brother-in-law of Prince Charles and the brother of Camilla Parker-Bowles, died early Wednesday of head injuries after he slipped and fell outside a New York nightclub after a charity event. The 62-year-old Shand hit his head on the pavement while lighting a cigarette. Police say Strand was alert and complaining of head pain when medics arrived, but he later died at Bellevue Hospital. Sources tell the New York Post that Shand had been drinking and was taking blood-pressure medication that caused dizzy spells.
It’s reported that the FCC will propose ending Internet neutrality as we now know it. What it means is that, unlike now, broadband providers would be allowed to charge Web firms for smoother and faster downloads to consumers. Some say it would give major websites like Facebook and Google an unfair advantage over smaller start-ups and it would mean you’d experience different connection speeds with various websites. One unanswered question would be if the major websites pay for faster connection speeds, would they pass along the costs to the consumer? If the changes are approved, the FCC will then invite public comments, few of which are expected to be favorable.
The federal government is proposing rules on e-cigarettes that would ban their sale to minors and require warning labels. In addition to e-cigarettes, the Food and Drug Administration is looking at regulations on cigars, pipe tobacco, hookahs and dissolvable tobacco products. The top three tobacco companies are also in the e-cigarette business and while they’re all agreeable on banning their sale to minors, they feel the other regulations go too far. Advocates of e-cigarettes say they’ve helped some smokers quit the real thing. However, other point out that the e-cigs still contain some of the toxic and carcinogenic ingredients as real cigarettes. In any case, the new regulations won’t include a ban on advertising that some wanted.

HE WATERCOOLER 2…

A Detroit mother got a surprise while shopping at Target. She found a bag of marijuana in a pair of jeans she bought for her 9-year-old son. Simona Green says she discovered the pot when she went to iron the jeans and that it could’ve been a lot worse if she hadn't found the weed and her son had been caught with it at school. Simona told the local media, "He probably would have been expelled. I would have been in jail. My husband would have been in jail. There's no telling what could have happened, and they need to take that into consideration." She also said she called Target to complain, but says employees acted like it wasn't a big deal and didn't give her the apology she wanted.

PORTS SHIRT…

The NFL released its 2014 schedule yesterday. The Seattle Seahawks will kick off the regular season by hosting the Green Bay Packers on September 4th. It's the third straight season the Packers have traveled to face the defending Super Bowl champions. The first Monday night doubleheader will have the New York Giants at Detroit, followed by San Diego at Arizona. Three games will be in London: Dolphins-Raiders on September 28th; Lions-Falcons on October 26th; and Cowboys-Jaguars on November 9th. The Thanksgiving tripleheader features Chicago at Detroit, Philadelphia at Dallas, and Seattle at San Francisco.
Word has it that both the Dallas Cowboys and Tampa Bay Buccaneers are interested in Johnny Manziel. The Bucs pick seventh and the Cowboys 16th.

During an Easter egg hunt, some Henrico County, Virginia families reported finding eggs filled with white supremacist messages inside. Authorities believe the eggs may have originated from someone associated with the “White Man’s March.” On the upside, at least the white supremacists used colored eggs.
Mandan, North Dakota’s David Kissee lit himself on fire at a gas station, ran through the car wash, putting out the fire, then stole a car and abandoned it a few blocks away where he entered a home. The resident called police, who arrived to find the severely burned Kissee, who explained that several officers attacked him wearing full chemical suits, sprayed him with chemicals and put him in a shed and that he could cure the burning from the chemicals by putting gasoline on himself before making the mistake of lighting a cigarette. The more likely explanation comes from charges Kissee is facing, including ingestion of a controlled substance.
Gabriel Marc Voumard is a midfielder on the Navy lacrosse team. While it may surprise you to know that we have a Navy lacrosse team, Gabriel may no longer be part of it after he and a friend went to an Annapolis bar to enjoy some adult beverages. After apparently consuming too many of those beverages, they took a taxi home and one went inside to get money for the fare. Upon discovering they didn’t have enough cash, they thought it would be a good idea to threaten the driver with a knife. That might’ve worked better had it not been a butter knife. Gabriel was arrested on charges of assault and reckless endangerment.
Police on Long Island received a 911 call from someone reporting their brother and mother had been killed and tipped authorities off to the murderer’s location. The SWAT team stormed the home to find a 17-year-old kid playing “Call of Duty.” It seems the kid had beaten his online video game opponent and the vanquished foe decided to get revenge by Swatting his house. Police say the perpetrator placed his emergency call using the Internet and could be anywhere across the globe.

O’ DUH…

Hockey crowds can be tough. A man dressed as Jesus attended the Boston Bruins – Detroit Red Wings game on Easter Sunday and was booed by fans when he appeared on the Jumbotron. If that weren’t humiliating enough for the King of Kings, security escorted him back to his seat when he was found to be in an unauthorized area. On the bright side, Jesus was named ‘Fan of the Game.’
West Palm Beach, Florida school bus driver Joseph Beauzile recently stopped to drop kids off along his route. At one such stop, 25-year-old Shacaurra Burns forced her way onto the bus. When Joseph closed the door and tried to lock Burns in as he called police, Ryan Beckford ripped the door open and started punching him as children looked on with "terrified looks on their faces" and one student jumped out a bus window. Burns and Beckford were arrested and the beating apparently took place because they felt Joseph wasn’t letting the kids off the bus fast enough.
Kingsport, Tennessee’s 19-year-old Dallas Archer is a pistol-packin’ mama! As Dallas was being booked into jail for driving on a suspended license, she was very thoroughly searched. That search turned up a loaded pistol concealed in her lady area. It turned out the gun was hot in more ways than one as it was reported stolen last year. Dallas now faces additional charges of possession of stolen property and bringing contraband into the jail. As for the gun’s owner, he said the "little fellow," would need a "bath in bleach."
New York heart doctor Zyad Kivarkis Younan likely had a heart attack when he saw the $135,000 credit card bill he’d run up at Scores strip club. Dr. Younan is now refusing to pay, saying someone at the club drugged him and ran up his tab. While that may be a plausible excuse, it wouldn’t explain why he returned to the club for a total of four separate visits over a 10 day period last November. Scores manager Stephen Hyman says, “He was coherent until he saw the bill…or his wife saw the bill.” The doctor’s other contention that he wasn’t at Scores on the dates in question was shot down by the club’s surveillance video.
