Objective:
I live my life by setting goals with realistic dates and achieving them before I move on to the next one. I’m a very disciplined motivated realistic hard working creative individual and a natural encourager who keeps on learning what motivates others, encouraging them, and helping them perform at their highest levels.   • Perusing Ph. D on the proposed research topic “Genetic analysis of L-Dopa trait in M. pruriens (L.) DC., under the guidance of Professor N. Sathyanarayana, Department of Botany, Sikkim Central University, Gangtok, Sikkim

  • Worked as a Senior Research Fellow under the supervision of Professor N. Sathyanarayana, Department of Botany, Sikkim Central University, on the project entitled DNA fingerprinting of important germplasm, assessment of genetic diversity and identification of elite parental lines for trait specific breeding in Velvet bean (M. pruriens)” funded by the DST - SERB, Govt. of India (March, 2013 to March, 2016).

  • Worked from CSIR-CDRI, Lucknow as Senior Project Fellow & Project Assistant II under the supervision of Dr. D. K. Mishra, Sr. Scientist, Botany Division in the CSIR (BSC0106) project entitled “Bioprospection of plant resources and other natural products (BioprosPR)” (Jan. 2013 to March, 2013) & “Estimation of cardiac glycosides in Calotropis procera and C. gygantea and their evaluation in in-vitro derived callus”(Nov 2010- Sep 2012).

  • Worked from CSIR-NBRI, Lucknow as Research Assistant under the supervision of Dr. R. D. Tripathi, Retd. Chief Scientist, Plant Ecology & Environmental Division on the project “Plant based screening technologies for biomonitoring and assessment of heavy metal/metalloid pollution (Nov 2009-Octobar 2010).

  • Worked with Clonegen Biotechnology (P) Ltd. Noida as Junior Research Associate (May 2009 to Nov 2009) and did four month project entitled “A study of Antimicrobial Activity of Domastic Medicinal Plants & its Bio-informatics Analysis of Antibiotic genes from genomic databases with degenerate primer pridiction” (1st June 09 to 30th Sep 09).

  • Did Six month training program from Clonegen Biotechnology (P) Ltd, as a Trainee Research Associate on R & D Department, under the supervision of Dr. Vandana Tiwari, Sr. Research Scientist sponsored by BCIL-DBT (Biotech Consortium India Ltd), on the Project “Isolation of genomic DNA from Chick pea & its molecular classification using RAPD markers” (Nov 08-May 09).

  • I have done my project entitled Cytogenetics and breeding studies on some varieties of Zea mays” from CSIR-NBRI Lucknow (U.P) under the Supervision of Dr. R. M. Pandey (Retd.) ‘Scientist F’ (June 2007 to Aug 2007).
