2. On behalf of the Central Committee, I once again request you to ask your member lines, to contribute for this year’s celebration at their earliest convenience. Without the contributions from your member lines, it will not be possible to celebrate the National Maritime Day in manner befitting the occasion. An initiative from your end is solicited.

3. The amount may please be remitted by Cheque/ Demand Draft, drawn in favour of ‘NATIONAL MARITIME DAY CELEBRATIONS (CENTRAL) COMMITTEE’ and mailed directly to the Member Secretary, National Maritime Day Celebrations (Central) Committee

Sir,

Your kind attention is invited to this office letter of even number dated 21.01.13 on the above subject requesting for generous contribution for this year’s celebration. As you are aware that the purpose of such celebration is to raise the awareness about the Indian Mercantile Marine on the high scale in the seafaring profession amongst the general public and to honour the personalities for their remarkable and meritorious services rendered for the maritime industry. It is appropriate therefore that we participate in these functions wholeheartedly.
