On both sides of the fall, it is covered with 'Palseokdam,' which were manufactured by 8 stones coming from the entire country. At night it makes for a fantastic scene of light and water. Moreover, the 1/100 miniature of the whole Cheongyecheon region is also said to be spectacular.

Blue house

After being used by all the former presidents, beginning with Syngman Rhee, it was decided on December 17, 1988, during the term of President Roh Tae Woo, to construct a new main office building. Construction started on July 22, 1989 and was completed in about two years on September 4, 1991. A total of 20 experts from various sectors participated in the design of the new building taking into consideration a modern look and utility based on traditional architectural techniques. In particular, each of the blue roof tiles, totaling about 150,000, were baked in accordance with the procedures for making fine pottery, which allows them to last for over 100 years.
