Livingston – Funeral services for Fred Davis Sr., 89, of Livingston will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 13, 1996, from the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. Davis was born June 22, 1907 and died Dec. 10. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dovie Davis; and sons, Fred Davis Jr. and Carl N. Davis. Survivors include his daughter, May Nelson; and sons, James, Rufus, Jimmie and Johnnie Davis.

LIVINGSTON – James Edward Davis, 64, died Wednesday, July 28, 1999, in Methodist Hospital, Houston, following complications after a heart transplant on July 9. He was born Nov. 17, 1934 in Onalaska, the son of Fred and Dovie Barnett Davis. Mr. Davis served in the U. S. Army. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Fred Davis Jr., and Carl Davis. Survivors include his wife, Gail Davis; daughter and son-in-law, Kimberlee and Dan Crissman of Kingwood; son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Amy Davis of Kingwood; and grandchildren, Paige and Ryan Davis of Kingwood. He is also survived by a sister, Mayzell Nelson of Livingston; and brothers Rufus Davis of Livingston, Jimmie Davis of Kerrville and Johnnie R. Davis of Livingston. Services were held Saturday, July 1, from the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Frank Hood officiating. Interment followed in Bold Springs Cemetery.

LIVINGSTON – Funeral services for Johnnie Ray Davis, 56, were held Tuesday,

February, 20, 2007, in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Frank Hood

officiating. Burial Followed in Bold Springs Cemetery.

Mr. Davis died Saturday, February 17, 2007, in UTMB Galveston in Galveston, Texas.

He was born February 3, 1951 in Livingston, the son of Fred and Dovie Barnett Davis.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Carl N. Davis, Fred Davis Jr.,

James E. Davis and Rufus Davis.

Survivors include his sons and daughter-in-law, Jessie Davis of Houston, Jason and

Rocio Davis of Waterwood and Michael Davis of Onalaska; daughter Shanna McLin

of Katy; sister, May Nelson of Livingston; brother and sister-in-law, Jimmie and Sheila

Davis of Kerrville; grandchildren, Hanna McLin, Jacob Davis and Graycie Davis and

sisters-in-law, Barbara Davis, Gail Davis and Deloris Davis.

Pallbearers were Glen Vestal, Donnis Clifton, Bill Stuckey, Fred Lester, Gary Slater

and Mike Maxey.

LIVINGSTON – Graveside services for Joshua Caleb Davis, age 4, were held Wednesday, June 2, 2004, at Bold Springs Cemetery, with the Rev. Lee Poe officiating. Joshua died on Friday, May 28, at his residence in Evans, Ga. He was born May 22, 2000 in New Orleans, La., the son of Justin and Dana Buller Davis. Survivors include his father, Justin Lee Davis; mother, Dana Buller Davis; sisters, Bailey Davis and Malorey Davis, both of Evans, Ga.; grandparents, Johnny and Becky {Kruse} Buller of New Boston; great-grandparents, Horace and Della Kruse of New Boston; grandfather, Jerry Pecha of Livingston; grandparents,

Darrell and Debbie Davis of Livingston; grand-parents, Floyd and Shirley Mead of Pittsburg; great-grandparents, H.L. and Francis Whitmire of Onalaska and James and

Gail Davis 72, of Huffman passed away February 14, 2009 in Houston. Graveside

services were held Tuesday February 17, 2009 at Bold Springs Cemetery, with

Rev. Tim Thompson officiating. Gail was born April 21, 1936 in Hattiesburg, Texas

to parents Claudell Hatten and Lois Moffett Hatten. She is preceded in death by her

parents, husband James Edward Davis and brother Bryan Claude Hatten. She is

survived by her children Kimberlee Davis of Huffman, and Mike Davis and wife Amy

also of Huffman, grandson Ryan Davis and granddaughter Paige Davis both of Huffman.

She is also survived by a host of friends and family. Serving as pallbearers were Brandon Hatten, Brad Hatten, Bubba Watson, Rodney Davis, David Armitage, Ricky Nelson, and Allen Nelson. Cochran Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.
