Funeral services for Albert Roscoe Walding, 79, were held Thursday morning in Pace Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. C. L. Moore officiating. Burial was in Bold Springs Cemetery. Mr. Walding was a native of Polk County. He was born April 20, 1894 near Bold Springs, where he attended school. He was the son of John and Jane Oats Walding. On

Jan. 9, 1921 he was married to Cora McIlvain in Livingston. He served in the U. S.

Army during World War I and was a member of the American Legion and the Baptist Church. He was engaged in farming most of his life. Survivors include his wife of Houston; and a sister, Mrs. Corrie Moorman of Baytown. Pallbearers were J. C. Walding, Acie Walding, B. Hill, Rodney Dean, George McIlvain, Tommie McIlvain and Leland Heusel.

LIVINGSTON – Funeral services for Buck Autrey Walding Sr., 64, of Livingston will be

held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 26, 1999, from the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel, with the

Rev. Lee Poe officiating. Interment will follow in Bold Springs Cemetery. Military Honors will be provided by the VFW Post 8568 Honor Guard. Mr. Walding died Thursday, Sept. 23, 1999 in Livingston. He was born May 22, 1935 in Livingston, the son of John and Gersie McIntyre Walding, both of them preceded him in death. He served in the U. S. Army

during the Korean conflict.

LIVINGSTON – Funeral services were held for Cora M. Walding at 2 p.m. on Tuesday,

May 27, from the Chapel of Pace Funeral Home with the Rev. Orvil Burger officiating. Interment followed in the Bold Springs Cemetery. Pall-bearers were: A. C. Dean, Rodney Dean, Ed Dean, Alvie Heuszel, Leland Heuszel, and Albert McIlvain. Mrs. Walding was

born the daughter of Thomas and Rosa Ott McIlvain. A native of Montgomery County, she was born and reared at Fostoria. She attended the then available public schools. On Jan. 9, 1921, she was married to Roscoe Walding and settled in the Bold Springs Community. Mrs. Walding was a member of the First Baptist Church. Survivors include three brothers; G. I. McIlvain of Houston, O. E. McIlvain of Nacogdoches and R. E. McIlvain of Elcahon, Cal.; two sisters, Mittie L. Heuszel of Livingston and Dorothy M. Dean of Houston and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for John Larking Walding, 52, were held May 14 from the Bethel Baptist Church at Bold Springs with the Rev. C. L. Moore officiating. Interment followed at Bold Springs Cemetery. Pallbearers were Doug Stanford, Dickie Phillips, Howard Denham, Roy Hennington, Jr., Albert Hopson, and Claude Thomas. Honorary pallbearers were June Marsh, Al Marello, Maxwell Jackson, Joe Thomas, Robert Blackstock, Lincoln Wiggins and Charles Broussard. Mr. Walding was born Feb. 9, 1926 in the Elwood community of Polk County. He died May 12. Walding is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Walding of Polk County. Walding attended the Livingston public schools. Walding married Doreen Jenkins on July 6, 1945. At the time of his death, he was living in Livingston. After service in the Army and Navy, Walding returned to Polk County where he has been engaged in his own business as a carpenter and contractor of residential and business property. Walding was a

veteran of WWII and Korea. He was a member of the East Tempe Baptist Church. Survivors include: his wife, Doreen {Jenkins} Walding of Livingston; four sons, David, Lester and Tommy Walding, all of Livingston and Chester Walding of Huntsville; one daughter, Suzanne Kessler of Katy; three sisters, Lillian Waits of Jefferson, Carrie Brandon of Baytown, and Loreda Willbanks of Mesquite; five grandchildren, John, Angelia, Raymond, Rex, and Tonja Walding.
