6-Why was Rassendyll afraid that Johann was killed?

-Because he wanted Johann to open the door for Sapt and his men at 2 a.m.

7-Why was killing De Gautet an important step to rescue the King?

-De Gautet had the keys.

8-Why did Rassendyll think he would find the King dead in his room?

-He thought that the King was alone in his chains with Detchard. He didn't know the doctor was there.

9-But for the doctor, the King would have been killed. Explain. -If the doctor had not held Detchard for a while, Detchard would have killed the King before Rassendyll arrived.

0-The King in chains helped Rassendyll to kill Detchard. Explain.

-The King pushed the chair into Detchard's body that Detchard couldn't stand up.

1-Why did the servants not put down their weapons when Hentzau ordered them?

-The servants didn't know the King was the prisoner: if the Duke was killed, they would be loyal to the King.

2-When did Rassendyll run after Hentzau into the forest?

-When he is sure Sapt and the other men entered the castle.

-The didn't want the servants to know the prisoner was the King.(Not to see Rassendyll and the King at the same time)

5-How did Rudolf's thought of responsibility change at the end of the story?

-At the beginning of the story he thought the social position was opportunities. In the end, he thought that even without a social position, we have the duty to help each other whenever we can.

6-Rose was disappointed at the end of the story for two reasons. Explain.

-Rudolf told her de didn't write the book about social problems. Rudolf refused the job with Sir Jacob which he had accepted before.

7-How did Rassendyll teach the King what a true King should be?

-He took his responsibilities seriously, he acted as a real King. He was honest. He rescued the King.

  • إذا كان الحدث الثاني will فان الحدث الأول يكون مضارع بسيط أو مضارع تام do, does, have done, has done

انتبه

- اكتبها everydayإذا جاء بعدها اسم و غير ذلك اكتبها every day.

- أكتبها sometimes بمعنى أحيانا و اكتبها some time/ some times بمعنى بعض الوقت أو بعض الأوقات.

- اكتبها besides بمعنى بالإضافة إلى و كتبها beside بمعنى بجوار.

- كلمة busy ياتى بعدها ingأوwith + noun-He was busy revise the report. (revising)

- انتبه : give a headache وانتبه on earth وانتبه أنbased on معناها مأخوذ عن و based in تعنى أن مقره أو مسكنه في.......

* mind + ingWould you mind if + S + past simple……..?

لوصف التعود في الماضي:

used to/ didn't use to/ Did….use to + المصدر

am, is, are, was, were used to + ing.

لوصف الاستخدام:

am, is, are, was, were used to + inf

am, is, are, was, were used for + ing

-Were glass and plastic used to making pans in the past? (make) استخدام و ليس عادة

- الأسماء التي لا تعد هي : 1- لها صورة واحدة لا تتغير. 2-يليها فعل مفرد. 3-يسبقها much/ a little ولا يسبقها / a few/many 4-يسبقهاthis/that ولا يسبقها these/those .5- يشار إليها بالضمير it وليس they, them. صحح الخطأ في الجمل التالية:

-هذه الكلمات لا يتغير شكلها و لكن إذا سبقها a/ an تكون مفردة و إذا لم يسبقها a/an تكون جمع.means/ species. series

-الكلمات التي تنتهي بالمقطعين body/ one يليها فعل مفرد و لكن يشار إليها بالضمائر they, their, them
