  • In ultimii ani, cercetarile privind noile surse de energie “verde” au crescut semnificativ. Natura ne ofera un numar “nelimitat” de surse de energie, energia generata de ocean fiind una dintre ele. Generatorii pe baza de elastomeri dialectrici, reprezentand o tehnologie relativ noua, ofera posibilitatea convertirii energiei mecanice (de ex.: energia valurilor) in energie electrica, mult mai utila. Scopul proiectului este de a obtine noi materiale pentru generatori pe baza de elastomeri dielectrici. Se vor obtine noi materiale pe baza de siloxani cu permitivitate dielectrica imbunatatita, pierderi dielectrice mici, conductivitate redusa si proprietati mecanice bune. Pentru imbunatatirea permitivitatii dielectrice, se vor folosi grupe polare atasate polimerului pe catena principala. Se vor obtine copolimeri cu diferite procente de dipoli in pozitii aleatorii, dar si in pozitii bine stabilite. Noile materiale obtinute se vor analiza din punct de vedere mecanic, electric si, in special, se va analiza fezabilitatea convertirii energiei mecanice in energie electrica. La sfarsitul proiectului nu doar se va obtine un material care poate fi utilizat in tehnologia generatorilor pe baza de elastomeri dielectrici, dar si intelegerea relatiilor structura-proprietati va fi imbunatatita.
