• As an independent academic unit, Bren School is able to be at the forefront of undergrad education, offering 7 majors + 5 minors + multiple GE courses for non-majors

• Two majors are interdisciplinary (Computer Science and Engineering with Henry Samueli School of Engineering, Business Information Management with Paul Merage School of Business)
• Biomedical Computing, Computer Game Science are the newest majors

Diverse life experiences and perspectives are valued in a field where professional work often uses a team-based approach. (We work with national and regional organizations to help inform young women that CS/IT study can lead to meaningful career options.)
