True Religion of God?
One of the most neglected yet most important question for every human being is “Why do I follow my Religion?. If posed this question, most of us respond like, you see as I was born in a (Muslim, Christian or a Hindu etc) family so I follow that religion. Ask yourself, or people around you, you will agree with my point.

But, observing people around you, you will agree that, including Muslims, most people live a Life contrast to the teachings of their religions. We mostly have a label of a certain Religion because of our Parents and we blindly accept it without any logical reasoning and criticism.

Infact most of us actually follow an Ideology based on Materialism… Money, Desires… Selfishness etc…. We all are running blindly after never Ending Desires…. Until the Examination Time is over… and WE LOSE THE GAME Leaving every thing behind….
Why indeed we need a religion or Relation with our Creator?

Inner Peace and Salvation …….

Just as body requires Food, same way Soul requires Spiritual connection with its Creator, God. Without which it remains hungry and Thirsty leading to a state of Depression and Restlessness. This is the biggest reason why Suicide Ratio in many Western countries is surprisingly high.

When it comes down to religions, we see that people tend to perceive them through the acts and rituals performed by its followers. This infact is a big mistake because many times the followers live a life against the teachings of their own religion. Therefore the best way to know a religion is through its sacred scripts such as bible for Christianity, Torah for Judaism and Quran for Islam. Keeping this in mind to make things simple and avoid confusions … I shall present an abstract intro of Islam according to its scripts Inshallah (God Willing)
Religion / Message of God

Let us define some simple logical standards for religion or Message of God from an unbiased human’s perspective.

Contrast to what people believe most religions attest the fact that there’s One Creator, who is Omnipotent and His existence is independent of Time space etc. Hence there should be just one Uniform and Consistent Message for people of all times in history or in future (i.e. independent of time, people, places or things etc).
I s l a m is an Arabic term that has Dual meanings… Peace and Submission.
In complete sense it actually means:

“SUBMIT To One Allah (God) To Find PEACE. (Allah is referred as The Father in Bible who is The Creator of Heavens and the Earths and every thing within)

This on the very first stage differentiates Islam with All Other Religions on the Face Of Earth. By directly and exclusively relating To God… As every Other Religion or Ideology. Is either related to some Person, some place or both….

For instance:

1. 
   Christ-ianity (a term meaning Christ like) is related To Jesus The Christ, The Messiah May peace and blessings of God be upon him.
   
2. 
   Judaism is related to a Tribe named Judah…. After the name of Judah, one of the 12 sons of Prophet Jacob pbuh.
   
3. 
   Hinduism is related to a Place (Hind)…
   

1. 
   Zoroastrianism is related to a person named Zoroaster of Iran territories ….
   
2. 
   Sikhism to a Person Guru Nanak …
   
3. 
   Buddhism to Buddha… a Prince who went in Forests in search of God…. And never married….
   
4. 
   Lamaism is related to Lama….
   
5. 
   Brahmanism is related to Lord Brahman….
   
6. 
   Mirzaism to Mirza Ghulam Ahmed
   
7. 
   Bahaiism to Bahaullah, Marxism to Marx…..
   

A Point:

This is true with all other religions on earth… you can try this rule of thumb to as many religions you want.

Conclusion: Suppose you don’t know any religion…. And are given the opportunity to choose a Suitable TITLE for the Religion of God… from above… Which one will you choose?

Also because all of the religions and their beliefs have clear starting points in history and hence are dependant on persons, places, time etc. They cannot accommodate people who lived before them.

Only Islam is the Religion that stands independent in terms of its Title, its Message and its Belief System and hence logically accommodates every person since the first man Adam pbuh till the last man on earth.
Belief System of Islam
Every religion is like a building whose foundation is its belief system (FAITH).

(As Modern Christianity is based on Beliefs such as Trinity, Original Sin, Great Sacrifice, Blood Atonement... etc). Before we proceed, please ask yourself a simple question. Can we extend Christianity, trinity, Original Sin, Atonement etc before the time of Prophet Jesus pbuh?

And if your answer is No, please know that same critical problem exists in all religions’ beliefs except Islam. Let us see how.

Belief or Creed of Islam is based on belief in Following 6 Pillars or articles and it is absolutely uniform and consistent for people of all times. All the Prophets and their true followers had this very same belief.

Therefore just like the definition… The Belief System of Islam is also Independent … of time place.. objects. persons. or any other logic contradicting myths… And this is something again… exclusive to Islam only.

Now with this background, let us understand the Islamic Beliefs.

1. 
   Tawheed – Islamic Mono-Theism [ Complete and Pure Oneness of God ]
   

The most concise definition of Concept of God is given in a small chapter of Quran (The last and final revelation of God.)

Say, “He is God, the One.  God, to Whom the creatures turn for their needs.  He begets not, nor was He begotten, and there is none like Him.” Quran (112:1-4)
Islam Strictly forbids Associating any Partners with God and tells us that God is the Creator of Every Thing and Himself is Un-Created. He has no Father, Mother, Wife or Son….etc.
2. Belief in all the Messengers and Prophets of God

We respect, and believe in all the messengers of God sent at different times and places to Guide and Call People To the Creator…. from Adam … Moses… Jesus…Muhammad (peace be upon them all….)…

For the people, any time in history the only “Door to God” was the Prophet at their time… (Just like Jesus pbuh was door to God only for “the Lost sheep of Israel” Matthew 15:22-8

Similarly Muhammad pbuh being the last prophet, sent to all mankind, is “Door to God” to the whole mankind till the last person on earth.
3. Belief in all the Books / Revelations of God

Muslims believe in all the Revelations and Divine Scriptures sent for the Guidance of Mankind. Quran is the Last and Final Revelation and Pure Word of God…… which came with Muhammad pbuh same way as Bible with Jesus, Torah with Moses …. and Psalms with Prophet David (may peace and blessings of God be on all of them).

Quran infect challenges that it will remain pure forever…And even after 1500 yrs. It has stood 100% pure and unchanged. All the other Scriptures have gone through countless Revisions and Changes… Therefore Do not Stand as 100 % pure message or The Word of God as they were on their First Day.
4. Belief in all Angels of God

We, just as all believers in history, believe in all the angels and that The Angel Gabriel, (Holy Spirit according to Christian belief) is the Chief of Angels ……..Who used to bring Revelations of God To the Prophets…..

5. Belief in Day of Judgment (The concept of Reward and Punishment)

Muslims, just as all believers in history, believe in the Day of Judgment (the Day of Resurrection) when all people will be resurrected for God’s judgment for even the smallest actions. This will decide never ending Hell or Paradise for every individual based on their own actions. (Despite what Christians believe today, same message is given in bible in Jesus’ own words) …

6. Belief in Al-Qadar

Muslims believe in Al-Qadar, which is Divine Predestination, but this belief in Divine Predestination does not mean that human beings do not have freewill.  Rather, Muslims believe that God has given human beings freewill.  This means that they can choose right or wrong and that only they themselves are responsible for their choices.

Conclusion:. We Believe a logical thing that infect all the Prophets of God and their followers at their times …. Including Noah, Abraham, Jacob, Isaac, Solomon, Moses, Jesus and Muhammad…. Had only one Religion i.e. Islam and hence were Muslims.
I said Logical because…. If you carefully consider the meanings of Islam and Muslim ( One Who submits his Will To God) you will easily understand that All the Prophets and their true followers must have to be Muslims as they all Submitted their Wills to God….

For example consider John 5:30 … Jesus PBUH himself is telling us Few things.. in black & whites… i.e. Rejecting any sort of Divinity…. And hence Trinity By saying….” I can of my own self do nothing.”

Also he is telling his religion by saying “because I do not seek my own will but the will of the Father who sent me."

This in Arabic exactly means “I am a Muslim”. This fact is attested at several other places such as Matt.26:39, Matt.1:25, John17:3 etc.

True religion of God must be “Complete”

“All religions preach goodness so doesn’t matter whichever you follow.”

“All religions have good and bad things”.

“All religions are like different paths leading to the same destiny, God so if we all be tolerant towards others and follow any religion, problems would be solved.”

These are the few widespread views about religions. Here please consider a logical point that just like a manual of a device So lets examine them analytically. Suppose the whole world becomes Christian, and now we have to implement Christianity in all walks of life. Question is: Does bible provides us detailed guidelines regarding how the political system, law & order, economical system, etc should be set up. The definite clear answer is NO, and this is true with all religions except Islam.

The proof for the above argument is that there was just one time in whole human history that a state was run 100% based upon a Revealed Scripture (Quran). No other religions has this precedence before them. This fact is well established and can be verified in any authentic encyclopedia.

In the light of Science

Last but not the least, as we are living in a scientific standards age, let us see the view of some great scientists of our age about Quran & Islam.

Professor Tejasen, of University of Chiang Mai, Thailand, studied various articles concerning the Qur'ân and modern embryology. He spent four days with several scholars, Muslims and non-Muslims, discussing this phenomenon in the Qur'ân and Hadîth. During the 8th Saudi Medical Conference in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia he stood up and said:

"In the last three years, I became interested in the Qur'ân... From my studies and what I have learned throughout this conference, I believe that everything that has been recorded in the Qur'ân fourteen hundred years ago must be the truth, that can be proved by the scientific means.

Since the Prophet Muhammad could neither read nor write, Muhammad must be a messenger who relayed this truth which was revealed to him as an enlightenment by the one who is eligible creator. This creator must be God, or Allah.

I think this is the time to say La ilaha illa Allah, there is no god to worship except Allah (God), Muhammad rasoolu Allah, Muhammad is Messenger of Allah...

The most precious thing I have gained from coming to this conference is La ilaha illa Allah, and to have become Muslim."

The touchstone of Islam

The touchstone of Islam is bearing witness that: “There is None worthy of Worship besides God (The Father in Bible) and Muhammad (Peace be upon him) is The Last Messenger of God” (who came approximately 600 years after Prophet Jesus peace be upon him….). Saying this with Conviction … one becomes a Muslim.

Islam can be perceived as a building standing on 5 pillars i.e. Islamic Monotheism, Prayer, Fasting, Zakah and Hajj (Pilgrimage). These 5 pillars have deep impact in on the “way of life” o f a person. If observed in true spirit they help any one attain the qualities such as sincerity, piety, patience, humbleness, truthfulness, God consciousness etc.
May Allah guide us all to His straight Path i.e. Islam, the first and the last religion. Amen.
