Manifestarea ştiinţifică a fost consacrată jubileului de 60 de ani a doctorului habilitat în chimie, academician Gheorghe DUCA, preşedinte al  Academiei de Ştiinţe a Moldovei.

  3. Descrierea ştiinţifică a lucrării (până la 100 cuvinte)

În culegere sunt incluse lucrările ştiinţifice ale participanţilor la cea dea V-a Conferinţă Internaţională „ECOLOGICAL CHEMISTRY 2012” în domeniul chimiei chimiei ecologice

La conferinţă au participat peste 80 participanţi din mai multe ţări (Armenia, Azerbaidjan, Belarus, Bulgaria, Franţa, Georgia, Germania, Grecia, Italia, Kazahstan, Letonia, Polonia, România, Rusia, Turcia, SUA, Ucraina). Din Republicii Moldova au participat peste 150 de savanţi şi specialişti în domeniu, care reprezintă institutele Academiei de Ştiinţe a Moldovei, instituţiile universitare de profil, cele ramurale şi ONG.

Participanţii au discutat ultimele realizări în domeniul studierii proceselor fizico-chimice şi biochimice, care au loc în apă, atmosferă şi soluri în cazul contaminării lor cu poluanţi de provenienţă antropogenică, acţiunii lor asupra sănătăţii omului şi arealului său, pentru discutarea metodelor de contracarare şi diminuare a impactului lor asupra mediului ambiant. Unul din obiectivele manifestării ştiinţifice a rezidat în propagarea unui mod sănătos de viaţă.
