Analog Filter Design Use New Active Element For Analog Signal Processing Application
The aim of the thesis is to design Voltage Differencing Buffer Amplifier (VDBA) element by using CMOS transistors. The proposed filtering application circuits related with (VDBA) are implemented. At first introduction and historical development of circuit design and some information about the filters are mentioned. Then, information about the OTA ideal equivalent circuit and the internal structure were mentioned. Giving general information about the buffer. At the same time, some features of OTA’s, advantages and disadvantages were explained. In the following sections, the internal circuit of (VDBA) which formed of OTA and Buffer were proposed, as well as another (VDBA) internal circuit which formed of Floating Current Source and Voltage Buffered were proposed. After that some filter circuits using VDBA have been examined by making mathematical analysis. Designed filter structures are very important for integrated circuit design because of used all passive elements grounded in circuits. Also designed filters have low sensitivity and the filters simultaneously provide three basic filter functions of high pass, band pass and low pass. To demonstrate the performance of proposed circuits, SPICE simulations were conducted. Finally, the simulation results are found to be agreement and very close with theoretical results. In the conclusion of the proposed structures are the discussed.
