Grégoire John Blum purchased a mill in Vinningen, close to Pirmasens, in about 1790. His son Michel Blum m Madeleine Héberlé and they had 7 children. After the death of Michel Blum in 1824, his elder son, André François inherited the papeterie of Wohlfahrtshoffen. André François Blum was mayor of Reichshoffen 1830-1837. He m Louise Héberlé, from the same family as Madeleine his mother. André Héberlé leased a mill in 1731 and his son Sébastien Héberlé, took over the lease in 1758. In 1793 Didier Heberle operated the mill with Francois Antoine Heberle, who was to be mayor of Reichshoffen 1799-1811. In 1836 Francois Antoine was an oil manufacturer and his son Thierry a meunier, miller. Thierry Héberlé operated the mill with his son Thierry from 1851 until about 1870, when the mill passed to others.
