CONDITIONS OF AUCTION & NOTES FROM IMPORTUNITIES FOR THE PURCHASER

The highest bidder shall be the purchaser immediately the lot/s has been knocked down to him/her. All goods are sold voetstoots as found. The auctioneer decision is final.

The auctioneer is not responsible for any errors.

Terms; Cash & Bank guaranteed cheques only. Ownership of the goods sold at vest at all times in the Auctioneer Principal until payment in full has been made. Cheques tendered will not be accepted as cash until cleared by the Bank.

The Auctioneer reserves the right of regulating the bidding. Bidding advances are generally in increments of 10 % of the bid made. The Auctioneer reserves the right of withdrawing or adding to any lot/s to the merchandise for sale on auction.

The Auctioneer Vendu Roll is final. No dispute will be taken into consideration as the correctness of same.

All lots knock down remain at the risk of the purchaser.

In the event of legal proceedings being instituted, the Auctioneer shall be entitled at this option to institute such legal proceedings in the Auctioneers name, whether or not he is acting as Agent.

The signatory hereto by his/her signing of the registration card shall ipso facto be deemed to have bound himself/herself to the seller as surety and co-principal debtor for the obligation incurred as Purchaser.

Telephone bids – the telephone purchaser will be required to make prior arrangements of at least 2 days before the Auction sale by e-mail or telephone. Telephone bids are subject to the availability of telephone lines.

A buyer’s premium fee of 10% will be levied on all purchases made.

There is no VAT on the hammer price, except when indicated by the auctioneer.
