Administrative Adjudication of Road Traffic Offences Act 46 of 1998
Section 6 Road Traffic Infringement Agency Board
The Minister appoints persons to serve on the Road Traffic Infringement Agency Board, but may do only after publishing a notice in the Gazette indicating the intention to appoint the person and inviting public comment or objections. A copy of the notice must be forwarded to the relevant Parliamentary Committees. The Minister must take into account any comment or objection received.

Civil Aviation Act 13 of 2009
Section 15 Procedure and requirements in appointing members of Aviation Safety Investigation Board, filling of vacancies and term of office

The Minister must, within 30 days from the date of appointment of the members of the Aviation Safety Investigation Board, notify Parliament of such appointment and publish such appointment in the Gazette.



Section 77 Appointment of members of Civil Aviation Authority Board
The Minister must appoint the members of the Civil Aviation Authority Board and notify Parliament of such appointment within 30 days.
Section 80 Removal of member of Civil Aviation Authority Board from office
The Minister may relieve the appointed members of the Civil Aviation Authority Board of their office. The Minister must within 14 days of issuing the notification contemplated in paragraph (b) (i) and tabled thereof a copy in Parliament, or, if Parliament is not then in session, has published a copy of that notification in the Gazette.
Section 85 Appointment and removal of Director
The Minister must appoint the Director and notify Parliament within 30 days of such appointment.
Independent Commission for the Remuneration of Office-bearers Act 92 of 1997
Section 8 Functions of Commission
This section provides that the Independent Commission for the Remuneration of Public Office-bearers must make recommendations relating to the salary, allowances and benefits of any office-bearer. Such recommendations must be published at least once a year in the Gazette, and must be submitted to Parliament before publication.
Liquor Products Amendment Act 32 of 2008
Section 2 Wine and Spirit Board
Amendment of section 2 of Act 60 of 1989, as amended by section 1 of Act 11 of 1993
The Minister shall appoint the members of the board, and shall designate one of the members of the board as chairperson.
The Minister shall notify Parliament of the appointment of the members of the board within 30 days after such an appointment.


Magistrates’ Courts Act 32 of 1944
Section 9 Appointment of judicial officers
The Minister must cause Parliament and the Magistrates Commission to be informed whenever any vacancy in the office of a magistrate has remained unfilled for a continuous period exceeding three months.
Transport Agencies General Laws Amendment Act 42 of 2007
The Act provides for the Minister to notify Parliament within 30 days of appointments made to the boards established in terms of the Cross-Border Road Transport Act, the South African Maritime Safety Authority Act, the South African National Roads Agency Limited and National Roads Act, the South African Civil Aviation Authority Act and the National Railway Safety Regulator Act.

Veterinary and Para-Veterinary Professions Act 19 of 1982
Section 5 Constitution of council
This section provides for the procedure to be followed in designating or electing the members of the South African Veterinary Council. Within 30 days after the commencement of office of the new members of the council, the Minister shall inform the parliamentary committees in writing of the designation or election of the members concerned.

The Constitution of the Republic of South Africa, 1996
Section 82 Safekeeping of Acts of Parliament
The signed copy of an Act of Parliament is conclusive evidence of the provisions of that Act and, after publication, must be entrusted to the Constitutional Court for safekeeping.
Legal Deposits Act 54 of 1997
Section 6 Places of legal deposit
In terms of this section the Library of Parliament, Cape Town is determined as a place of legal deposit.
Section 7 Duties of places of legal deposit
The Library must receive, accession, retain and preserve, catalogue or inventories, and ensure freedom of access to documents received in terms of this Act. It must assist the State Library to compile a national bibliography and statistics of the South African production of published documents. It must also assist the South African Library and the National Film, Video and Sound Archives to preserve at least one copy of each document supplied in terms of this Act.
The Library must provide for public access to documents and information in terms of subsection (4).
Section 8 Legal Deposit Committee
This section establishes the Legal Deposit Committee, which has as one of its functions to report to Parliament on the activities and financial affairs of the places of legal deposit.

5 Administration of laws
(4) (a) If in the application of this Act or any law the administration of which has been transferred to a public authority under subsection (1), it appears that any provision thereof is in conflict with any other law or that administrative problems are being experienced, the State President may by proclamation in the Gazette make regulations in order to remove such conflict or administrative problems.
(5) A copy of any proclamation under subsection (4) shall be tabled in Parliament within 14 days after its promulgation if Parliament is then in ordinary session, or, if Parliament is not then in ordinary session, within 14 days after the commencement of the next ordinary session.
