Abstract
This paper presents the current state of research and development of a game design document inspired by myths of Yoruba culture. This culture is very present and influential during virtually the entire Brazilian history, where most slaves from the current Nigerian region were brought. The Yoruba myth is the root of many African-Brazilian religious traditions, but this work is intended to use the pure myth, without involving popular religiosity and ignoring some of syncretism processes that occurred in the last centuries. This project aims to deal with themes that are present in the formation of Brazilian cultural identity, but not always celebrated as it could be.
