‘Fascinating Double’ – No 6816 (R. Smith) Double. Upright. COROLLA: quarter flared, smooth petal margins; opens violet blue (91A); matures reddish purple (70B); 20mm (3/4”) long x 15mm (9/16”) wide. SEPALS: half up, tips recurved up; magenta (57B) upper & lower surfaces; 25mm (1”) long x 15mm (9/16”) wide. TUBE: light orange (32C); medium length & thickness; 18mm (11/16") long x 8mm (5/16") wide. STAMENS extend 20mm (3/4”) beyond the corolla; pink (62A) filaments; white (155A) anthers. SEPALS: half down, tips reflexed; rose (48B) upper surface; coral (39B) lower surface; 31mm (1 1/4”) long x 8mm (5/16”) wide. TUBE: rose (54C); long, medium thickness; 29mm (1 1/8") long x 6mm (1/4") wide. STAMENS extend 2mm (1/16”) beyond the corolla; light orange (41D) filaments; yellowish white (4D) anthers. PISTIL extends 5mm (3/16”) beyond the corolla; pink (43D) style; pale yellow (2D) stigma. BUD is oblong, longish.
