Discussion and conclusion:
Alcatel-Lucent commented that the use of public DNS may be an issue for lawful interception, that the ePDG list should include all PLMNs with a roaming agreement with the Home PLMN and if there is no PLMN with roaming agreement then it should be treated as if the Local PLMN has not deployed ePDG. Rogers Communications commented that there should be an indication for LI requirements for the ePDG list. Motorola Mobility clarified that if the country requires using a PLMN of that country then this will be indicated and the ePDG chosen with this requirement from the list of PLMNs. Rogers Communications commented that if operating in a foreign country then the regulatory requirements of that country for LI needs to be complied with, which needs to be agreed with the regulator, but not necessarily with the operator. There was some further discussion on this contribution and it was noted.
