JCTVC-M0450 Report of the joint BoG on high-level syntax [Y.-K. Wang, J. Boyce (BoG coordinators)]

This BoG report was presented and discussed on Thurs. 25th at 1230. This was a large BoG report, and contained substantial notes. The actions taken in response to the BoG report are integrated into the sections of this report for the various contributions considered by the BoG. However, the more detailed notes about these contributions as recorded in the BoG report are not duplicated here, so the reader should refer to that report for further information. All topics that were requested by the BoG to be further discussed by the JCT-VC were discussed and closed as appropriate.

Due to the high degree of overlap between JCT-VC and JCT-3V issues relating to high-level syntax, the BoG was established jointly and considered relevant JCT-3V topics as well as JCT-VC ones. This included discussion of the first set of 9 JCT-3V contributions for which the same proposals were not submitted to JCT-VC, namely JCT3V-D0051, JCT3V-D0064, JCT3V-D0074, JCT3V-D0197, JCT3V-D0198, JCT3V-D0199, JCT3V-D0211, JCT3V-D0218, and JCT3V-D0220, and the second set of 24 .JCT-3V contributions for which the same proposals were also submitted to JCT-VC, namely JCT3V-D0042, JCT3V-D0047, JCT3V-D0048, JCT3V-D0049, JCT3V-D0050, JCT3V-D0052, JCT3V-D0053, JCT3V-D0057, JCT3V-D0059, JCT3V-D0081, JCT3V-D0082, JCT3V-D0083, JCT3V-D0084, JCT3V-D0236, JCT3V-D0237, JCT3V-D0239, JCT3V-D0240, JCT3V-D0243, JCT3V-D0311, JCT3V-D0313, JCT3V-D0235, JCT3V-D0238, JCT3V-D0242, and JCT3V-D0244.
