1. Main

Hello. My name is Narin Kim. Let me start my presentation!

2. Web designer

I’m a web designer. A couple of months ago, my clients Mrs.Sheila and Mr.Everett commissioned to me make a website to introduce Seoul for young foreigners.

I agonize about the concept. And finally I found the answer.

3. Back to the future.

The answer is history. I want to show them history of Seoul. Back to the Future in Seoul, It’s title of the website. I quoted it from movie ‘Back to the Future’.

4. How to

So, How can I express the history of Seoul?

I divided the page into 3 parts, PAST, PRESENT, and FUTURE. Because I want to show them both tradition and development of Seoul.

5. PAST, PRESENT, FUTRE

I selected 3 places. Bukchon, Insadong, and Myeongdong. Each place has a history of Seoul.

6. Pre-production

After I decided the concept and places, I started the Pre-Production work.

7. Budget

First, I made a budget. There was equipment, Personnel, it means the pay for my employees. Location fees, Insurance, and others. Others include food expenses. So total is about 3 million won. I think it seems about right.

8. Personnel

Second, I hired 2 employees. Jiho and Jieun. I was director, ……. In our work. Jiho was cameraman and reporter when we shoot the video. Jieun was consulting designer, and supporter. She gave me some advice about design and some great sounds for video, too. Thank you buddies.

9. Location search

Next I selected the locations to go. Then I searched opening hours, address, and connecting number. I used this document when I went these places to get some materials like pictures, and videos. It was very useful! Because I didn’t have to find information, again.

10. Website.

After the work I made a website. Then let’s see my website!

11. Main

This is main page. And these buttons are connected with each page. PAST, PRESENT, and FUTURE. Let me show you PAST page.

12. Past

Top of the page, I show you some pictures about bukchon with gallery widget. Also I introduce the participating site and connecting number. Some travel tips, too. I provided the maps about that places and subway. Of course, all they are in English. I recommend some places can experience the tradition of Seoul, Korea. All f the pages have a menu bar at bottom. So you don’t have to go up the page to select the menu.

13. Food

Then go to the food page, there are 2 restaurants I recommend one of these is for vegetarians.

14. Present

In PRESENT page, there is interview video with foreigners. And some contents are similar with PAST page.

Tis page introduce some tips about cultural defference.
