Duties
This position operates either individually or as part of a team, and is primarily responsible for the provision of administrative and legal support to members of the Tribunal.
Duties may include ensuring the efficient and effective conduct of hearings, assisting with the preparation and legal editing of Tribunal decisions, drafting directions, interlocutory orders and correspondence.

Eligibility
The AAT generally requires Australian citizenship as a condition of employment. All employees who are engaged for a period of over six months are required to undertake an Australian Federal Police Check.
The successful applicant will either hold, or have substantially completed a recognised degree in Laws from an Australian tertiary institution or hold a comparable overseas qualification.

Non-ongoing opportunity will be offered for a specified term
This position will be offered for a period of up to 12 months with a possibility of extension of up to three years.

Duties
The Procurement Officer position is a key role in the Business Support – Procurement and contracts team and is responsible for the informed and economical conduct of procurement duties, including purchasing, approaches to market, and contract management, in accordance with Commonwealth and tribunal procurement policies and practices. The immediate supervisor is the Assistant Director, Business Support – Procurements and Contracts.
