1711Military Mail: Korean War 1950 (28 Oct) "On Active Service" cover addressed to Mrs Radnell, Alphington, VIC (mother of sender). TR in manuscript "No Stamps Available" with "Aust Unit Postal Stn 496/28 Oct 50" cds alongside in use in Korea at the time. The cover was sent by Ernest Randall who served with 3rd RAR (28 Sep 1950 to 12 Oct 1951) & was a WWII veteran who enlisted in K-Force & is a Kapyong veteran & is listed on the nominal rolls for this battle. A rare item, one of the few confirmed "On Active Service" covers we have seen ex Korea. This lot comes with further background info of this WWII/Korean War veteran. $100$150
