CONTEST MECHANICS

FEU Cavite V-Farm is one of the projects of FEU Cavite Higher Education Department highlighting the CCat Framework – Culinary, Culture, and Tourism. Varieties of vegetables are planted in the farm and also serves as a laboratory for students’ training on “farm-to-table project” as part of HED’s relevant and innovative training and development programs.

Guidelines

1. 
   The contest is open to all bona fide College students enrolled in any program, Senior High School students enrolled in any academic track, and Junior High School students of FEU Cavite interested in showcasing his/her skills and creativity in photography;
   
2. 
   Student must be 13 years old and above.
   
3. 
   Interested students will have to fill-out the registration form available at the Program Coordinator’s Office (look for Mr. Ryan Gamoso), SHS Director’s Office or BED Directress’ Office; or download the form at www.feucavite.edu.ph. Deadline for submission of forms is October 18, 2018.  
   
4. 
   Registered applicants will have to take pictures and engage themselves with a vast array of photographic subjects in the farm (but not limited to):

5. 
   Applicants must submit his/her ORIGINAL captured photo accompanied by a description consisting of not more than 500 words to [e-mail] with the email subject: INSTAFARMABLE Entry # ___. Submission of entries is until October 29, 2018, at exactly 5 PM.
   

PHOTO SPECIFICATIONS:

1. 
   Monochrome forms of photos (black-and-white) are not accepted.
   
2. 
   Photo size must be 1080x1080 pixels (square type). High Resolution.
   
3. 
   Minor color enhancement is permitted. Images that have been significantly modified or appear unnatural will be disqualified. No photo manipulation such as adding or replacing of elements in the captured image using editing features.
   
4. 
   Images may be cropped as necessary as long as the size is within the specifications above.
   
5. 
   No borders or frames.
   
6. 
   No watermarks or any insignia that will identify the photographer.
   
7. 
   Entries must be originally photographed by the participant. Schedule of taking photos at the FEU Cavite V-Farm will be by batch and shall be provided once the registration form has been submitted.
   
8. 
   All entries will be officially owned by FEU Cavite and may be published on all promotional tools; the name of the photographer/owner will be appropriately acknowledged.

  Through social media, entries will be posted on Facebook page: FEU CAVITE official page or search for @FEUCaviteOfficialPage; and on Instagram using the hashtags: #FEUCaviteInstaFARMable #FEUCavite #FEUCVFarm on October 30, 2018.
  

7. 
   People’s Choice award will be based on the number of shares, likes, and hearts he/she will get from his/her masterpiece uploaded on Facebook and Instagram.

  Facebook “Share” is equivalent to 3 points per share;
  
• 
  Instagram “Heart” is equivalent to 2 points per like; and
  
• 
  Facebook “Like” is equivalent to 1 point per like.
  

8. 
   Number of shares, hearts, and likes will be monitored and recorded daily. The FINAL recording and computation will be on November 8, 2018, at EXACTLY 5 PM. All entries will be displayed as a gallery at FEU Cavite V-Farm Laboratory Modern Bahay-Kubo on November 13, 2018. Announcement of winners will be on the same date.
   
9. 
   The winning masterpiece will be displayed at FEU Cavite Modern Bahay-Kubo and will have the chance to win the following prizes:
