IV. Optical properties and condensed matter spectroscopy-resp. Lucian Ion



  • Introducere

Tema sus-mentionata este, in mod special, una interdisciplinara, implicand cunostinte/tehnici/tehnologii de fizica, chimie si matematica. Pe baza rezultatelor inregistrate in ultimul deceniu (Fig.1) se poate afirma ca in Romania exista in acest moment un potential uman si infrastructura necesara dezvoltarii cercetarii stiintifice in acest domeniu, fapt reflectat in participarea la proiecte nationale si internationale si elaborarea de publicatii stiintifice.

Fig.1 Evolutia numarului publicatiilor cu autori romani, avand tema enuntata in titlu, si a citarilor acestora in perioada 2000-2011, reflectata de baza de date ISI Thomson (Topics=(optical properties OR condensed matter spectroscopy) AND (Address=(Romania)).


Numarul total al articolelor publicate in acest domeniu, cu autori romani, in reviste cotate ISI in intervalul 2000-2011 este 1154; aceste articole aduna in total un numar de 6208 citari in acelasi interval de timp, cu un numar mediu de 5.38 citari/articol. Indicele Hirsch corespunzator este 31. De remarcat tendinta pronuntat ascendenta pe intreaga perioada analizata.

Utilizand in calitate de criteriu de cautare spectroscopia/tehnici spectroscopice ca subiect al publicatiilor ISI cu autori romani se obtine un numar de 4304 articole, cu 18637 citari si un indice Hirsch de 40.


Scopul acestui studiu este identificarea principalelor subiecte abordate de cercetatorii romani precum si a grupurilor celor mai active in acest domeniu si, eventual, de a sugera modalitati de coeziune a eforturilor depuse de diversele grupuri de cercetare in vederea cresterii performantelor si vizibilitatii cercetarii in domeniu din Romania.

Contributie romaneasca si obiective propuse – colective/cercetatori cu activitate in domeniu [Ref. 1-5] exista la Institutul National de Cercetare&Dezvoltare pentru Fizica Laserilor, Plasmei si Radiatiilor din Bucuresti, Universitatea din Bucuresti – Facultatea de Fizica, Universitatea Alexandru Ioan Cuza din Iasi – Facultatea de Fizica, Universitatea Politehnica din Bucuresti. Sunt abordate teme de cercetare privind indeosebi aplicatiile in domeniul controlului propagarii undelor electromagnetice. Imbunatatirea infrastructurii de cercetare si cooperarea mai stransa a grupurilor de cercetare oarecum izolate poate duce la rezultate mai bune privind contributia cercetatorilor romani in domeniu.
