1.Planned activities and project status
The active project tasks since Progress Meeting 2 are summarized in Table . The last column of the table indicates the status of the tasks at the time of writing. All originally scheduled activities have been completed, besides WP 1330. Processing of the corresponding dataset (Istanbul, Turkey) is only partially completed, as detailed in section 2.8.
WP 1250, WP 1320 and WP 1330 originate from the project schedule (Figure 5 of the Research and Development Plan, RDP) [DA 2].
The remaining WPs were active at this stage of the project for the following reasons:
WP 1210: the coseismic deformation dataset (TD 1.* in [DA 4]) was updated with COSMO-SkyMed images covering two additional events (Lunigiana and Kefalonia). The azimuth-streak dataset (TD 2.* in [DA 4]) was also updated with several datasets provided by ASI to further investigate this issue.
WP 1240: the status of the scheduled acquisitions for the phase 2 datasets is documented. A problem arises from the anticipated termination of one of these datasets, as discussed in section 2.2.1.
WP 1310: the draft journal paper concerning application of the Phase 1 results to Baluchistan, Pakistan (Annex B of [DA 4]) was accpted after major revisions. The latter are described in this document and the accepted version of the paper is provided in Annex C. Furthermore, two additional coseismic datasets were processed, namely in the Lunigiana area, Italy and on the island of Kefalonia, Greece. For the Lunigiana event a paper was submitted and is provided in Annex A. The data processing results for Kefalonia are described in Annex B.
