Optımal Sızıng Of Resıdental Solar Heatıng Systems By The F-Chart Method
In this study, system design and optimization issues for liquid-based solar space heating systems are addressed. In the first part of the study literature survey was made and methods for determining hourly and daily solar radiation and computing long-term performance of solar heating systems were introduced; later details of the methods used in the study were given In this study
Ångsrtöm-Prescott method was used in computing hourly and daily radiation on horizontal and tilted surfaces on earth.
F-chart method was used in computing fraction of heating load supplied by solar energy needed to size solar space heating system.
Life cycle costing approach and present value method were used in computing optimum fraction of heating load supplied by solar energy.
