Understanding the vocabulary of salah

IGHSILNEE

IGHSIL- command to wash

NEE- me
MIN- FROM
KHATAYAYA- my mistakes my errors
BILMAA EE

BA- Its not just a letter, it’s a WORD, in Arabic certain letters also function as words. WOW, LAAM, even though its just letters, it functions as a word.

BA- means with, using
O ALLAH WASH ME FROM MY MISTAKES AND ERROS USING WATER
MAEE- WATER
WA SALJ-

Wa- and

Salj- means snow in classical Arabic

Modern times it means ice

WAL BARADH-

BARADH means ice

O ALLAH WASH ME FROM MY MISTAKES AND ERRORS USING WATER AND SNOW AND ICE
FIRST WE SAID O ALLAH PUT A HUUGE DISTANCE
THEN SECOND STEP, ITS LEFT A RESIDUE BEHIND, SCRAPE THAT AWAY, REMOVE IT AWAY

BUT THE WORD WAS DANAS- IT LEFT A STAIN NOW

THIRD STEP WASH THAT STAIN AWAY, WHAT EVER EFFECTS OF THOSE SINS LEFT, WASH ME COMPLETELY
What’s this about, water, snow, and ice?

It’s the PROGRESSION OF ICE

WHATS colder than water? Snow,

What colder then snow? Ice

O Allah I have small thing, water will work

Then there are bigger things, snow will work

The worse and bigger they get, scrape them all away!
Why the escalation in coldness?

Because what’s the consequence of bad sins? FIRE

As my sins get worse and worse, they bring me closer and closer to the fire of Allah, O Allah remove me farther way!
THE THEME OF THIS IS PURITY AND CLEANLINESS, PURIFICATION
This supplication has 3 parts, because we see ALLAHUMMA 3 TIMES
But how many times do we see KAMAA?

TWICE so the first 2 parts have kamaa

Kamaa is used to draw analogy to something.

This shows us the eloquence of the Prophet pbuh

O Allah remove my sins away like east and west

Then it say o Allah brush sins way like filth is brushed off white clothes

Look at how the Prophet pbuh describes, he merges the two parallels together
O ALLAH WASH ME, (doesn’t talk about clothes) WASH ME FROM MY MISTAKES

HE MERGED 2 TOGETHER, NO MORE KAMAA

WATER SHOULD HAVE BEEN TALKING ABOUT CLOTHES but he merged two together
SINS ARE A NATURAL OBSTACLE TO KHUSHOO, A PERSON CANNOT ATTAIN KHUSHOO WHILE HE IS STILL IMMERSED IN SIN!! A PERSON WILL NOTICE, THE MORE HE CURBS TO TAKE SINS OUT OF HIS LIFE, HE WILL EXPERIENCE HIS SALAH MORE AND MORE, THE MORE HE CUTS SIN FROM HIS LIFE.
