Bloemfontein’ – No 6853 (de Boer) Single. Trailer. COROLLA: quarter flared, smooth petal margins, square shape; opens dark rose (55A); matures magenta (68A); 15mm (9/16”) long x 14mm (9/16”) wide. SEPALS: half down, tips reflexed; pink (49A) upper & lower surfaces; 32mm (1 1/4”) long x 9mm (5/16”) wide. TUBE: pink (49A); medium length & thickness; 30mm (1 3/16”) long x 8mm (5/16") wide. STAMENS extend 13mm (1/2”) beyond the corolla; light rose (68D) filaments; pale yellow (158B) anthers. PISTIL does not extend beyond the corolla; light rose (68D) style; pale yellow (158B) stigma. Distinguished by huge paniculate bundles of flowers.

Bolleke de Beer’ – No 6733 (L. Geerts 2008) Single. Upright. COROLLA: quarter flared, turned under, wavy petal margins; opens pink (49A) & dark rose (51A); matures rose (51B); 12mm (7/16") long x 10mm (3/8") wide. SEPALS are half down, tips reflexed; rose (52C) tipped light greenish yellow (151D) upper surface; rose (47D) tipped light greenish yellow (151D) lower surface; 18mm (11/16") long x 7mm (1/4") wide. TUBE is rose (51B); long & thick; 54mm (2 1/8") long x 8mm (5/16") wide. STAMENS do not extend beyond the corolla; pink (48D) filaments; light yellowish green (150C) anthers. PISTIL does not extend beyond the corolla; light rose (50C) style; light pink (55D) stigma. BUD is oblong. FOLIAGE is dark green (137A) upper surface; medium green (138B) lower surface. Leaves are 56mm (2 1/4") long x 40mm (1 9/16") wide, chordate shaped, serrate edges, obtuse tips, cordate bases. Veins are plum (184C), stems are plum (185C) & branches are plum (185C) & medium green (138B). PARENTAGE: ‘Walz Harp’ x ‘Big Slim’. Small upright. Makes good upright.
