| Studıes On Desıgn Strategıes For Conformıty Of Plantıng Desıgn Wıth Landscape Lıghtıng
Outdoor rooms are the green areas covering any kinds of social, physical and recreational requirements of human. A well planned and balanced lighting system, makes possible these areas being used intensively during the daytime hours to be capable to use also during the night time hours in effective way. The lighting design which differs from the daylight to the landscape and gives attraction alongside provides security. However, balance and conformity which are between planting design and lighting design are important while the lighting design performs these duties.
The target of this study to establish the lighting techniques and plant design and the design strategies which provide conformity of these components. In the study performed, at first, the literature data are collected in collection with the subject. For this reason, this study consists of; main lighting issues; lighting sources and lighting fixtures models; outdoor lighting purposes and lighting principles of the areas which call outdoor areas, like road, park, carparking, public square; the physical characteristics of plants and relations with lighting techniques; the assessement of 9 outdoor lighting projects, which are choosen for this study, thruogh these informations.
