Investıgatıon Adsorptıon Of Resveratrol On Varıous Adsorbents
The adsorption of resveratrol on natural resin, artificial resin and natural clay has been investigated at 25oC, 30oC,40oC and two different solutions (water and methyl alcohol + water mixed). The uptake of resveratrol from aqueous solutions and methyl alcohol+water solutions has been determined by UV-vis spectroscopy. For concentrations of resveratrol in two different solution, Freundlich, Langmuir, and BET isotherms have been applied at 25oC. BET and Langmuir model were the best choice among the adsorption isotherms.The adsorption kinetic of resveratrol in two different solutions has been described by using six kinetics adsorption models, such as pseudo-first-order, pseudo-second-order, intra-particle diffusion, mass transfer, elovich and fractional power models. The pseudo-second-order model has been observed as the best fit model for adsorption kinetic of resveratrol.Thermodynamic parameters of resveratrol have been calculated at two diffrent solution and at three different temperatures.
